Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

DH went to his usual class this evening - only to find he was the only one there other than the instructor. He’s also complaining about the intensity.

Meanwhile I did Abs this evening: both levels of 6W6P (65 min)

(45/205: 46h 00min)

I'd offer Mr Oubliette a high five of solidarity only I'm not sure I can raise my arm...

SophieLion · 27/02/2020 11:03

So yesterday did 2.5 hours skiing as I felt too wrecked to do anymore. I think my iron levels might be playing up so need to get tested again.

Today I didn’t go skiing (which I’m quite gutted about as the weather is gorgeous - two days ago it was a bit foggy and Icy and yesterday loads of fresh snow which had all fallen after the slopes had been groomed...). Did days 17 and 18 of the yoga challenge today (good to stretch out my leg muscles as they were very tight) and toning for glutes, abs and arms.

Grin* MotherForkin! Sounds like you and Oubliette* got your money’s worth out of your classes!!

Days exercised: 49

SophieLion · 27/02/2020 11:04

So the last part was supposed to say "you and MrOubliette"

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 27/02/2020 16:41

Swimming today, 1km, my arms couldn't go any further!

Shame you missed the nice day, Sophie. Have you long more there?

I have a long work day tomorrow so I definitely won't get any exercise.

Days exercised 44

OublietteBravo · 27/02/2020 20:37

MrOubliette has gone wine tasting with DD’s godfather this evening - so he’s having a rest day.

I only did a short session: BFBM (50 min)

(46/204; 46h 50min)

4 hours of skiing again today. We're leaving tomorrow MotherForkin.

Today started with a full-on snow storm but the afternoon was blue skies and sunshine with lots of lovely powder snow. Smile We did a lot of off piste which was a lot more fun than normal skiing (I'm not crazy about skiing but my family is). I'm feeling shattered now though. We aren't leaving until later in the day so will try to go to gym in morning.

I'm sure MrOubliette enjoyed his wine tasting 🍷 after his intense exercise session yesterday.

Days exercised: 50

OublietteBravo · 28/02/2020 20:00

The kids have friends round for a sleepover. So I’m having a rest day and sampling the goodie bag that MrOubliette brought back from wine tasting Wine

I got on with exercising first thing and did a rather reluctant NMTZ (50 min)

(47/203; 47h 40min)

5km interval run and pilates for abs, arms and glutes.

Days exercised: 51

SophieLion · 29/02/2020 11:19

Hope you enjoyed your goodie bag Oubliette!! What was in it? Different wine samples?? (I've never been to a wine tasting so clueless)

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 29/02/2020 15:39

Dh is away again so I managed to get in a half hour run while between activity drop offs and pick ups this morning. It's about 2 weeks since I had a run and it felt it!

Days exercised 45

OublietteBravo · 29/02/2020 16:05

The goodie bag had a bottle of white and a bottle of red in it.

Runs are always hard if you've not run for a while MotherForkin. My legs feel like they are made of iron!! I'm trying to run at least twice a week.

That's a big goodie bag Oubliette!

Today will be a rest day (filled with laundry and unpacking Angry) . Think my body deserves it too - my legs are still a bit achey from skiing. Think my technique is all wrong and I'm tightening everything up!!

OublietteBravo · 01/03/2020 19:12

Having had an unusual Friday rest day I’m exercising today instead. Ri30 L2D9 and KillerAbs L1D9 (65 min)

(48/202; 48h 45min)

I was feeling the full effect of a very late night at a dinner party most of the day, but I've just done some hill sprints and they weren't as awful as they could have been!

Days exercised 46

SophieLion · 02/03/2020 10:52

One hour yoga (days 19 and 20 of the challenge).

Nothing like a good run (or hill sprint!!) to get rid of a hangover MotherForkin!!

Days exercised: 52

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 02/03/2020 16:39

Strength and conditioning today.

Days exercised 47

OublietteBravo · 02/03/2020 18:46

Abs. Both levels of 6W6P (65 min)

(49/201; 49h 50min)

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 03/03/2020 14:50

Swimming today but I lost count Blush I did at least 1km, maybe 1.15.

How's the washing mountain Sophie? At least there's good drying with storm Jorge!

Days exercised 48.

OublietteBravo · 03/03/2020 19:41

30DS L2D5 & KB&T L2D4 (65 min). I think this combination of circuits is my nemesis. Ugh - it hurt

(50/200; 50h 55min)

OP posts:
SophieLion · 04/03/2020 07:26

No time to exercise yesterday. Today did JM's killer arms and back L3 plus some pilates core work.

I don't live in the UK MotherForkin so didn't have all the storms to dry my washing!

Days exercised: 53

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 04/03/2020 11:16

Ah, I did wonder what unearthly hour you were up in the mornings, Sophie to have blasted through your exercise each day Grin

I've added a second strength and conditioning class so did that this morning with a 15min run beforehand as I got there early!

Having a minor procedure done this afternoon so tomorrow may be a rest day depending on how it goes.

Days exercised 49.

SophieLion · 04/03/2020 14:10

I hope the procedure goes well MotherForkin Thanks
I normally exercise straight after the school run as I find that if I don't do it then, then it never happens!!

OublietteBravo · 04/03/2020 19:50

I think it is probably wise to have a rest day @MotherForkinShirtBalls - I hope everything goes/went well.

Ri30 L2D10 & KAbs L1D10 (65 min) this evening. Time to move up a level...

(51/199; 52h 00min)
