Exercising into a new decade - AKA New Year-athon 2020

Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

Hill run this morning.

My pt has been sick this week so I've been very lazy and done no weights or core work and now my hip is complaining.

Good luck for phase 3 roonetta! How many phases did you say there were? It all sounds very hardcore.

I took the whole weekend off and today I've just done a 5km interval run plus strength for abs, arms and butt. I'm thinking I need to do some back - I really like that line that runs down the length of the back!

Morning! I had a couple of rest days over the weekend. Making the most of the weather and being allowed to meet people before there is a change to one or both. I did actually exercise yesterday though: KB&T L1 (40 min)

Thanks @SophieLion - this is the last phase, so one more month left of the programme. I am enjoying it (except the cardio).

WO9 done. Not too bad but I didn’t give it my all as I was learning the moves. The dreaded squat with v-lift from 30DS has returned and I can still only do it with my lightest weights!

I had a planned rest day on Sunday and an unplanned one yesterday (although my watch tells me I walked 8km). My pt is well again so back to proper workout this morning. Hip is OK, thanks, it was just grumbling as it is wont to do.

Cardio 3 done. Not sure I like this one. She does each exercise for 20 seconds so there are loads and for some of them by the time you have watched how to do them, you have finished. She also forgets some altogether or puts them in a different order the second and third goes round which is a bit confusing. Even the people doing it with her look a bit confused at times. Still, it got my heart rate up to 182 so I was out of puff!

Swimming today. I was in the pool bang on time for a change so I managed to do 1250m instead of my usual 1000m. I am sore after yesterday's weights session so the swim will hopefully help.

I did a 45 minute power yoga flow today plus finished off the Lilly sabri booty resistance band challenge - today seemed to bother my quads more than my butt though!!
