Exercising into a new decade - AKA New Year-athon 2020

Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

Short run and mobility flow today. Weather is very changeable and my head has been varying between aching and floating. My sinuses are not liking it!

I joined the work “circuits for lower back” session via Zoom. But it wasn’t really enough to call today an exercise day - so I did BFBM as well (70 min).

Only a short session today as took DCs to the beach all day.

Day at the beach sounds fun, Sophie. When we had good weather everyone went and I felt it was far too busy to go too. Now it's cooler I can't get the kids to go at all! Hope the treadmill is easy to fix.

Weights this morning. I did some extra abs and really feel it.

did HIIT for the first time in ages: killer arms and back L2 plus strength for abs and butt. It was roasting - even with the AC on.
Not sure what is wrong with treadmill

I did hiit too, lots of abs for active recovery.

Ooo I've not had a crunchie in years. I used to love them!

Short session today as ran out of time: strength for abs and butt for just over 30 mins. Forgot I did two dance lessons during the week (after 4 months!!). Hope to do HIIT tomorrow.

I can’t remember the last time I had a Crunchie. Must be years ago. I’m also glad it’s Friday. I was very tempted to have a rest day, but I somehow found enough motivation to do BFBM (50 min)

I'm not sure if we have crunchies here. I used to eat off all the chocolate and leave the honeycomb
for last 😋

HIIT today : Extreme shed and shred L1 with ankle weights to make it a bit more challenging.

I've learned how to make honey comb. So delicious.

Hike with ds up a "mountain" this morning. It was a gorgeous clear morning so lovely views.
