Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

I’ve done Yoga inferno L2 (the one with weights) and KB&T L2 (70 min). I’m still finding it more of an effort than usual - I think it might have been because of the humidity this evening.

Strength: NMTZ (50 min). Not so much of a chore this morning.

I was tired yesterday so took a rest day. Still tired today so I had a reasonably easy cycle with the kids.

Days exercised 127

Hope your hip improves quickly MotherForkin

5km run plus strength for abs and butt.

Days exercised 137

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 15/06/2020 12:04

Thanks Sophie, it's a bit better today. It's a long term management thing unfortunately, rather than it'll ever be fixed.

Weights class this morning. I think the elevated split squats are putting too much pressure on my hip so I'll need to work out how to modify them.

Days exercised 128

OublietteBravo · 15/06/2020 19:27

After a planned rest day yesterday, I’ve just done Yoga inferno L1 (the one without the weights) and KB&T L3 (70 min)

(125/125; 125h 20)

I'm half way to my 250 days of exercise target (and we’re not quite half way through the year). I think on the whole I’m less likely to skip an evening during lockdown (as there is nowhere to go out to).

Yoga vinyasa practice plus strength for abs/core and butt

Days exercised 138

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 16/06/2020 10:59

Congratulations on reaching half way Oubliette!

I realised I haven't been for a run in ages so I went out for a short one this morning. I didn't know it was raining until I walked out the door Hmm. Then mobility/core class when I got back.

Days exercised 129.

OublietteBravo · 16/06/2020 20:37

@MotherForkinShirtBalls - DS and I managed to avoid getting caught in the rain by mere seconds this evening. We were about 20 steps away from the front door when it started.

6W6P L2 & KB&T L1 (70 min). It’s so humid. I definitely need a shower!

Wow Oubliette - I don't think I've ever seen you write that you went for a run! Did you enjoy it after so long?

5km run plus strength for abs

SophieLion · 17/06/2020 07:05

Oh I got all confused. (Late night last night). It was MotherForkin who went for the run Grin

OublietteBravo · 17/06/2020 07:10

Grin - I’d probably run if I could persuade DS to come too. Getting him to do any kind of physical activity is challenging at the moment. He usually swims and plays rugby/hockey/cricket (depending on the season). But nothing like that is possible at the moment. It’s a worry.

6W6P L1 & KB&T L2 (75 min). Too wet and thundery to go out for a walk this evening.

I was feeling awful on Wednesday so took the day off. We had some nubies on the mobility flow class last night so it was too easy to count yesterday! Back to it properly with a hard weights class this morning. Happy weekend!

Days exercised 130.

SophieLion · 19/06/2020 16:52

Glad you're feeling better now MotherForkin Thanks

7km run

Days exercised 141

OublietteBravo · 20/06/2020 09:42

I had a rest day yesterday because I was feeling really tired. I got up and exercised this morning as usual though. KB&T L3 and 30DS L1D1 (65 min).

(129/121; 129h 40min)

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 20/06/2020 16:58

Thanks Sophie. I had a never ending migraine and I didn't realise how bad I felt until I felt less bad.

Cycling with the kids today. Ds finally got his new bike (first investigated just before lockdown which seems like years ago) and life really better with a bike that fits him!

Days exercised 131.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 21/06/2020 13:17

Hill run this morning
Days exercised 132

Oh migraines are nasty MotherForkin Sad

Took the weekend off. Vinyasa yoga plus strength for arms, back, abs and butt
142 days

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 22/06/2020 13:29

You have been going like the clippers, Sophie, I hope you enjoyed your weekend of rest.

I bought myself a body pump bar for my weights classes and it's so much easier than using the dumbbells. Now I just need more weights plates Grin

Days exercised 133.

SophieLion · 22/06/2020 18:25

I like that expression MotherForkin Grin To be honest I really like starting my day with exercise and now I've got so used to exercising that I feel odd if I go too long without it!!

May you have many happy exercise sessions with your new body pump bar!!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 22/06/2020 18:38

Ha, reading it now, there's an autocorrect typo in it, it should be going like the clappers. I've no idea what it means, my mum says it Grin

I know what you mean about getting in a habit, I miss it if I take more than a day rest at a time.

OublietteBravo · 22/06/2020 19:34

I had another rest day yesterday. Back on it this evening: KB&T L3 and 30DS L1D2 (65 min). The monotony of life is really starting to get me down. I miss normality.
