Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

Bravo MotherForkin! It makes such a difference exercising earlier on in the day. I should have done that today as was feeling down. My run has cheered me up a bit.

5km run plus strength for abs, arms and butt

Days exercised: 108

OublietteBravo · 05/05/2020 19:40

Rest day yesterday (I just couldn’t face exercising after 6 hours of meetings). Back on it this evening: Ri30 L4D3 & 1WS cardio (60 min)

(96/154; 96h 15min)

I don't think anyone would face doing anything after 6 hours of meetings Oubliette!! Probably just a glass of wine Grin

My bad knee has been hurting (think I had my resistance band too tight in some under-butt exercises) so took it a bit easier today. 45 mins yin yoga with Cat Meffan (and actually knee feels a bit better after all the stretching) and then strength for abs and arms/back (finished the 11 lines abs challenge and the 10 days toned arms challenge by Lilly Sabri - my triceps do feel stronger).

days exercised: 109

OublietteBravo · 06/05/2020 19:39

I have to confess I had Prosecco on Monday. But I’d definitely earned it!

This evening I’ve done 30DS L2D10 (how I hate this workout) and KB&T L3D9 (65 min)

97/153; 96h 20min)

The ever lengthening days of conference calls are always surprisingly exhausting. I did nine hours recently, I could hardly move after it.

S&c today. Planned an early run but ended up watching walking with dinosaurs with ds who was up early instead. It was a much better way to start the day.

Days exercised 97

SophieLion · 07/05/2020 12:30

I think I'm going to have a rest day today. Slept really badly and feel exhausted. No motivation to exercise whatsoever.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 07/05/2020 18:56

Sounds like a good day to rest Sophie. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I took a wrong turn on my hill run this morning and did twice my usual distance. I was going at a snail's pace but it felt good. Then I had mobility flow afterwards.

Days exercised 98

OublietteBravo · 07/05/2020 19:48

Strength: NMTZ (50 min)

Weight class this morning. Planning a cycle this afternoon too, make the most of the sunshine.

Hope you got a good rest last night Sophie.

SophieLion · 08/05/2020 17:00

Thank you MotherForkin. Yes, feeling much better today. Sounds like you had a good workout yesterday! I always used to like running uphill (not allowed to run on an incline no due to knee) because you automatically had to push yourself to get up the hill (rather than having to consciously push yourself to go faster when running flat - if that makes sense!!).

5km interval run today plus strength for abs, abs and butt.

Days exercised: 110

SophieLion · 08/05/2020 17:00

*arms, abs ....

SophieLion · 09/05/2020 10:05

Strength for arms, abs, back and butt and then a flow yoga class - all in the garden Smile

Days exercised :111

OublietteBravo · 09/05/2020 10:58

I had a rest day yesterday. I made sure I got up and exercised first thing this morning. 30DS L3D10 and KB&T L3D10 (65 min)

(99/151; 99h 15min)

I forgot to count yesterday! Run this evening, bringing me to 100 days. I celebrated by shaving off most of my hair. Weather is due to be awful tomorrow so I'll probably have a rest day.

Days exercised 100.

SophieLion · 10/05/2020 09:51

Congrats for 100 days MotherForkin! Smile Very brave to shave off your hair. Do you mean all off completely??

7km for me today.

Days exercised: 112

SophieLion · 11/05/2020 15:18

Strength for arms, abs and butt and a yoga flow class

Days exercised : 113

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 11/05/2020 19:09

How's your under butt doing Sophie?? Grin

I didn't completely scalp myself, it's like this (photo stolen from the Internet, definitely not me!). I'm delighted with it.

Weights class this morning. I didn't sleep well last night so it was hard.

Days exercised 101.

Hello 👋

I had a rest day yesterday - no excuse really. Just a lack of motivation. Back on it this evening: both levels of 6W6P (65 min) - taking me to 100 days.

(100/150; 100h 20min)

OP posts:
SophieLion · 12/05/2020 16:29

Gosh I thought those photos were you at first MotherForkin and I was thinking how brave you were to post a photo of yourself!! Understand what you mean now re haircut. I bet it's so easy now. I had a pixie cut on the spur of the moment a couple of years ago and it was so easy - especially being able to wash it every day. I got bored though after a while and have grown it back.

And as for my underbutt, I think it might actually ** be looking a little better. Grin My abs are also looking better - think 10 mins a day on them has really helped

Same as yesterday for me: Strength for arms, abs and butt and a yoga vinyasa class

Days exercised : 114

SophieLion · 12/05/2020 16:30

Congrats to you Oubliette for reaching 100 days 👏🏻👏🏻

OublietteBravo · 12/05/2020 19:53

Ri30 L4D3 & D3 1WS-cardio (60 min). Oooof - that was hard work today!

I've posted enough on here over the years, Sophie, without my actual face!

Well done getting to 100 days Oubliette.

I was feeling very lead-legged yesterday so I just did my mobility flow class and took it as a rest. I did my accidental Hill run from last week again this morning and feel great after it.

Days exercised 102.

OublietteBravo · 13/05/2020 19:59

I did both workouts of Yoga Inferno (60 min). For a change. I’m not sure I’ve ever done this DVD before - even though I’ve had it for years.

(102/148; 102h 20min)

SophieLion · 14/05/2020 15:28

I did a bit of abs and arms yesterday but nothing else so was more of a day off. 7km interval run today.

Days exercised: 115

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 14/05/2020 17:33

I got a run and mobility flow done early today. I've been at a virtual conference for the last 6 hours and heading into a virtual board meeting in 15 minutes. Sitting for 8+ hours totally cancels out the benefits of moving!
