Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

I got up very early yesterday to get a run before my work thing started but I stupidly checked my email first and I ended up stuck in that mire instead. It was a super long day so didn't get anything done later.

Today dd and I went for a run. We did lots of sprints... I'm dead!

Congrats on getting to 100 Sophie !

Days exercised 90

Thank you MotherForkin and how frustrating to get up early especially to exercise and then not manage it. It sounds like you made up for it with today's session though!!!! Grin

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 27/04/2020 12:33

S&c this morning. I dug out my weights yesterday (8kg hand weights and a 12kg kettle bell) so I'm going to start using them more in the sessions.

Dd enjoyed our run so much yesterday she asked if we can do it again. My legs won't thank her!

I had a “rest” day yesterday. But having hand-planed 0.5 cm off a door I really ache today (I can open the door with the rug in situ - which is surprisingly exciting). I painted all the woodwork except the door - that will have to wait until next weekend. The before and after photos show that 3 weekends worth of DIY have actually had an effect.

Wow!!! What a difference Oubliette! The room is so bright and cheery now. A nice place to work I would imagine. Congrats!!

Nice you have a running partner MotherForkin. If I was allowed to run outside then I would definitely go running with my DCs too. Unfortunately it's only one at a time on the treadmill!

I'm having a rest day today and really enjoying it Smile

OublietteBravo · 27/04/2020 20:02

It’s a much nicer place to work. Although I’m definitely not as productive at home as I am in the office.

I switched to a new level of Ri30 (L4D1) and then did the evil cardio circuit from 1 Week Shred. Which is apparently only 60 minutes in total.

Your new office looks lovely, Oubliette.

One hour flow yoga plus strength for arms and back, abs and butt.

I had an unintended rest day yesterday. Lockdown seems to be really bad for my motivation. April really hasn’t been a good exercise month for me. This evening I did 30DS L2D9 and KB&T L3D6 (65 min).

S&c this evening. 8pm really is too late for me, I've no energy or motivation for a class at that hour. It was miserable, cold rain all day so I couldn't get out for a run. Here's hoping tomorrow is better.

Days exercised 92.

SophieLion · 30/04/2020 09:29

HIIT today: L4 and L2 of ripped in 30. Was going to do L3 but didn't fancy the frost strength circuit in the thighs. Had forgotten L2 has 2 mins cardio in plank Angry

Hope you both feel more motivated today and that weather improves.

Days exercised : 102

SophieLion · 30/04/2020 09:29

Correction : 103 days exercised

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 30/04/2020 19:18

Mobility flow this morning. I'm aching after it! And a cycle with the dc between the showers.

I made the mistake of tell my trainer that I dug out some weights. S&c this morning was hard. I'm going to be in a lot of pain tomorrow!

In good news, it has just been announced that our 2km exercise limit has been increased to 5km from Monday so I'll be just able to get to my hill run! Happy Friday everyone.

Days exercised 94

OublietteBravo · 01/05/2020 19:55

I nearly had a rest day, but I didn’t. I got changed into my kit and did a full session. 30DS L3D9 & KB&T L3D7 (65 min)

Bank holiday weekend here so I give myself both Saturday and Sunday off. 'Twas the height of luxury Smile. But because every day feels the same in lockdown, my S&c class was on this morning and lots of weights again.

Days exercised 95

Lovely sunny day so I'm planning to spending the day in the garden.

SophieLion · 04/05/2020 17:26

Hope you both enjoyed the bank holiday weekend and good that the weather was nice for you.

Today 40mins yoga plus strength for abs, arms (triceps and back) and butt

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 05/05/2020 10:46
