Couldn't help thinking about from toilets while I was squatting. HmmGrin

Well I achieved last week's objective to do both Levels of 6 week 6 pack twice.
Now I have a bad cold and have no energy.
So I'm not going to set a workout objective for this coming week.
Hope you are all doing well and managing to avoid winter bugs.

Popping back to check in. It took 13 days but I have now completed level 2. On to L3D1 tomorrow.

Hope you’re feeling better clearsomme

Waitingonasmiley42 · 28/01/2019 18:09

Well done whencanisleepagain

I've been a disaster! Only ran twice last week and did nothing else. Blush

Going to do 6 week 6 pack tonight. Keep making excuses...

WhenCanISleepAgain · 28/01/2019 18:11

Good luck waiting! Well done for picking up and starting again.

Waitingonasmiley42 · 28/01/2019 19:00

And done! I cheated and did level 3 of the shred because it's shorter. Grin

clearsommespace · 29/01/2019 03:38

Good luck with L3 whencanI!
waiting L3 Shred is hardly cheating.

Normal life wasn't quite so draining yesterday so hopefully I'll back by the end of the week.

WhenCanISleepAgain · 29/01/2019 17:50

Thanks clear I think I maybe even enjoyed it today! I found it very hard and it’s definitely not cheating waiting!

clearsommespace · 30/01/2019 14:04

My goal is to do L1 Shred once this week.

I'm not setting the bar high but I'm not sure I'll achieve it. Sad
I feel wiped out after doing the supermarket shop just now.

Well I failed to do any exercise last week.
I feel better now though.
I have managed Level 1 Shred twice this week. Tomorrow I will attempt something a bit tougher.

I hope everyone else is doing better and avoiding the winter bugs.

glad you managed to get back to it clearsomme i was the same at new year - just couldn't exercise cause i was knackered through illness.

i've avoided posting for a wee while because i always end up getting an injury and then not being able to keep going and have never yet done the 30 day shred right through in any kind of normal timescale BUT i started mid-Jan and did level 2, day 4 this morning. my aim is to be completely finished by 6th march - which may sound a bit slackerish considering where i am but work is totally mental for about 8 days towards the end of this month...

fingers crossed!

clearsommespace · 07/02/2019 06:22

That's great!
Hopefully being fitter will mean your crazy busy period at work will feel a little less draining.

L2 Shred done.

OP posts:
Sturmundcalm · 08/02/2019 20:04

we'll see!!

that was L2D6 done this morning but i had to take a breather for 2mins in the middle of circuit three because i thought i was actually going to vomit...

clearsommespace · 10/02/2019 08:12

It's very quiet on here...
I did all the Shred levels last week and today I did Exreme Shred and Shed L1.
It was fun (a real variety of moves including kickboxing and yoga) despite managing to hit myself in the face on one of the boxing moves Blush. A bit later on a different boxing move JM warned against hitting yourself. Too late for me!
It's 10 minutes longer than Shred so I'm going to have to get up earlier if I want to do it before work in the week.

OP posts:
Sturmundcalm · 28/02/2019 18:25

tis very quiet but as I have now completed L3D6 and am on track to be finished by Wednesday (my original deadline) i feel the need to post and record this fact Grin

not sure what i'm going to do once i've finished this - contemplating doing some loooong walks (fancy doing a pilgrimage-type walk at some point in the next few years so need to build up) but also need stuff to do when i only have 40mins to spare!

clearsommespace · 01/03/2019 16:59

That's great Sturm.

I had a week off as we were visiting family in half term. No exercise bar a few strolls with dogs and lots of food. Felt so sluggish when I got home!
I picked up again last weekend. I've done each level of Shred this week and L1 6 week 6 pack. But I didn't post because I felt like I was talking to myself!

I have decided to do Ripped in 30 again, 5 days of each level this month. I'll start Sunday.

OP posts:
Sturmundcalm · 03/03/2019 12:40

I might look at Ripped in 30 - do need to find something to do! Having a rest day today as I did a lot of stairs yesterday as well as the shred and my knees are bothering me a bit...

clearsommespace · 05/03/2019 07:09

I hope your rest day did you good. It would be so frustrating to have to stop now but you can't take risks with your knees.

Ripped L2 today. I am mixing up the levels.
Annoyingly I couldn't manage the 2 minute plank cardio circuit without a break. It is a step back as I was able to end of last year.

Maybe by the end of the month I will be able to again.

OP posts:
Sturmundcalm · 05/03/2019 08:04

I'm done!!!

I still have a way to go in terms of my weight but I am now slimmer and fitter than I have been in at least 20 years Smile

turning 45 tomorrow, def due a drink to celebrate Wink

clearsommespace · 05/03/2019 16:07

Hurrah!
Yes you deserve a glass or two of something special!

OP posts:
Sturmundcalm · 08/03/2019 18:23

thanks clearsomme

was planning on just switching to walking for a while but the weather
is rubbish at the moment and the forecast is for sleet/snow/hail for the next week so I've ordered Ripped in 30 after much faffing... hopefully I can survive it!

clearsommespace · 10/03/2019 16:08

I do enjoy getting a new JM DVD (mentally, not so much physically Grin )

This is my second week of Ripped on 30.

L2 this morning.
I'll be doing all the levels once this week ( in whatever order I feel like.)
Then next week it'll be level 3 I do twice.
So by the end of the 4th week I'll have done each level 5 times.

So on some days we'll be going through the same struggle!

OP posts:
Sturmundcalm · 10/03/2019 17:13

did level 1 this morning - was feeling quite smug at the start as i was using my 3kg weights as the 1.5kg wasn't cutting it but then i got midway through circuit three strength and had to sit down for two minutes as i felt like i was going to throw up (which i think is my body's way of telling my my heart rate has got too high)...

planning on doing 6 sessions of each level - although finding JM more annoying than i did in the shred. and her helpers definitely don't have great form for some of the moves! not sure i've really hit the point where her DVD arriving makes me happy Wink

am also planning on starting a diet tomorrow and hoping that means i see a more immediate/visible difference.

clearsommespace · 11/03/2019 07:18

I don't think I could manage that first move in the third circuit with 3kg weights. She's not joking when she says it's going to be tougher.
Agree her presentation style is a bit overbearing.
L1 complete.
Good luck with your diet. I have given up chocolate for Lent. If I don't have breaks I find I want chocolate every day! It becomes a habit.
