Rather slow plugged away to get 4.9k but completely ran out of steam was too hot and couldn’t do the last 0.1k Blush but did it.

Great walking amy. It’s my first Monday to myself in weeks yippe both kids at school. Did a “brick” session to practice for the Tri at the weekend as done virtually no running for 5wks I needed to see if I could do it. Nailed a back to back 9k bike & 2.5k run but it was hard going on the puff lost that but strong legs. Pleased to have done it though gives me confidence for the event at the wend.Smile

Thanks ski. I was losing my mojo a bit in the last few weeks- still running, but every step felt like a huge chore. I took a day off, ate some carbs, and then went off for a slow, long jog and it reawakened me a bit. I’d really like to break the 10 mile barrier, so hopefully my next long run I will manage that.

Today- little hilly 7km. We have some good long hills (like 1-2km Of steady incline) by me so I took a few of those on in a big loop.

Total: 1083.5 / 416.5

Most HM plans have steady build up then a break week where you drop right back to 3-4m then following week build again. Gives your body time to repair.
I managed a 4.9k again Grin just got route slightly wrong as it was unplanned dash before DH left for work boy I struggled again. Really frustrating as mid-July I rattled out a 8mile run and the 4-5wk break has knocked out my stamina but I’m hoping I’ll build up again without injury again... also did yoga class on my lunch break which was relaxing.

31.29 miles of walking done this week, slowly getting there.

I now need to walk 35 miles a week to meet this target, not sure it's going to be doable but I'm going to give it my best shot!

Completed the intro-triathlon at weekend Smile after minimal running in Aug was pleased just to finish even if was 2mins slower than last year.

Well done on the 17 that’s brill achievement.
I got a 5k run in Thursday and 1.4k Swim Friday night was well needed de-stress swim. May go run tom see how I feel as still nursing injury abit.

Today is the first day this year that I am choosing not to run because I am ill (ie not a rest day or run-related injury!). Considering I’ve always been very prone to cough/throat/colds that’s a real bonus of running that I didn’t expect, but hopefully will feel better tomorrow to make the most of what looks to be a lovely week.

Hope you feel better soon bear. Still great walking amy. I went out for impromptu bike ride and ended up doing 55k Grin loved it was such a beautiful day here after a very wet n grey weekend I was glad to have day off work.Running 459k
