Happy Easter, snuck out for early 5k before the Easter bunny came and keeping my fingers crossed injury isn’t niggling too much after most of March off running.

244 Just three miles today, I wasn't going to run as I have big running plans for tomorrow, but DP wanted me to pace him as he is bloody awful at it!

I'm a little behind where I want to be for the year, I am going to have to step it up this month a little to get back on track!

No idea. It's been twingeing over the weekend and I ran on it twice, now it's really sore. Though I see the NHS advice is to keep a bad back moving / do exercise so I don't know if I should just head out anyway

I think I'd switch to something more gentle than running if I were you, go for a swim maybe?

I find that, because I'm one of these pathetic types that won't put my face in the water, swimming makes my back / neck hurt at the best of times. I know, I need to woman up and just swim properly but it makes me panic having my face under [bush]

I might settle for a brisk walk instead, get the heart rate up a bit

Oh bitoutofpractice hope the back eases up - walking has helped me in the past or cycling as it’s non-impact.

Sticking to 5ks at the moment whilst foot injury still niggling. But lovely to be able to be back out running again tonight after work to clear the head.

I have been reading advice on the nhs website about bad backs and it says to keep it moving. So I ran 5km and it's fine now. So, added to the slow 2Km jog I did last night I'm now at 201.1/ 750

Another 5k today, I’ve now ran more km in April than in the whole of March whilst injured. I’m really hoping I can keep going now.

Does skiing count? Grin did good 4-5hrs yesterday and legs knackered today so only couple hrs today.
