Well done eatspam! That's seriously inspiring.
30DS L3 yesterday (kind of to see how insane it would be, as I haven't done 10 x L2 yet). It was okaaaay but I really can't do the move in plank, on my hand weights, lifting legs etc. My weights just slither out from under me and I collapse in a puffing heap 😆 Think I need to use my grippy mat instead of just prancing about on the carpet.
Aiming to run to work and back today. So many deadlines I may not manage a lunch break...

OublietteBravo · 25/01/2017 19:09

A bit of a shorter session this evening - Killer Abs L1 (day 3?).

Well done everyone Flowers

I did Body Rev Cardio 1 on Monday, rest yesterday and then Body Rev workout 3 today. It wasn't as bad as I'd feared!

RJnomore1 · 25/01/2017 20:08

Planned rest day today.

KanyesVest · 25/01/2017 22:04

So, physio says no running or weights while standing for at least a month Sad. I am allowed swim though. I went today, 40mins and between 30&40 lengths (I can never keep count).

Eat, it sounds like you're doing incredibly well, keep up the good work! Those moments when you realise how much better your body is working you are proper little gifts...enjoy them Flowers

blodynmawr · 26/01/2017 07:18

KBFF done.
Hope the swimming goes OK Kanyes and your knee improves quickly Flowers.

KanyesVest · 26/01/2017 14:21

Shoulders were a bit achey this morning but fine for another lunchtime swim. I definite did 40 lengths today, and could possibly have done more but didn't want ti risk botching another body part by going too hard too fast.

Hope the outdoor exercisers aren't blown away! It's very cold and stormy here so I'd have had to really force myself out for a run today.

OublietteBravo · 26/01/2017 19:48

Sounds like you're getting into the swimming Kanye - best to follow the advice of your physio. Hopefully your calf will heal quickly.

I did NMTZ this evening. For some reason I'm absolutely starving - wonder if it is the cold weather.

My mums just had a heart attack so I may need to up my cardio. She's doing fine but she's never believed women should get out of breath.

KanyesVest · 26/01/2017 22:21

God, sorry to hear that RJ. How is she? Are you ok? Flowers

RJnomore1 · 26/01/2017 22:30

Yeah she's doing ok she's going to need more tests and a rehab plan but she's in fine spirits and up on her feet. I'm okay I'm just realising I got a bit of a fright though. Obviously going to need to make sure I strengthen my heart as much as I can too in case it's genetic.

LordPeterWimsey · 27/01/2017 07:06

Very sorry to hear that, RJ - hope she makes a full recovery.

I've fallen off the wagon in the second half of this week as I've been busy in the evenings and it's just too cold to get out of bed in the mornings. Nothing done for the last couple of days except some yoga, and I've got to go away over the weekend to visit family so won't get more than a short session of yoga done while I'm away. Back on the wagon (and the bike) next week, I hope.

randomsabreuse · 27/01/2017 17:45

RJ - glad she's doing ok! Take care of yourself too..

Finally back to exercise after most of a week of as I had a lurking lurgy I didn't want to provoke. 30 day fatburn where I left off, dropped back a few days on the 30 day abs challenge and I should finish the beginner level 1 of 30 day squats. Had a little look at 30 day shred L3. Looks interesting... will try that tomorrow as DH is on call so just volunteering at park run with little monster in tow!

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 27/01/2017 18:17

Glad she's ok RJ

Sooo, cross trainer on Tuesday, a very chilly 3.4k run on Wednesday then today in my wisdom I thought, hmmm bet the PT taster session will be just that-maybe 30 mins of odds & sods to give a basic idea of what he'll do so I took myself out for a 4.3k run in bloody temperature of -1 & it turns out that no, not just a piece of piss taster session -a full on hour & 15 mins of torture... Quite enjoyed it though, in a sort of sadistic way Grin

DeliciousIrony · 27/01/2017 19:16

RJ Oh no, how awful for her and you - best wishes to her Flowers

Body Rev workout 4 yesterday, but I was so bored by the thought of doing Cardio 1 today (even though I've only done it twice so far, sorry Jillian!] that I picked a workout from youtube instead, plus about 15 mins hooping so hopefully that's roughly the equivalent in terms of calorie burn.

OublietteBravo · 27/01/2017 19:43

Oh no RJ that must have been such a shock (for you and for her). I'm glad she's OK - I hope her recovery goes well.

I've just done Ri30 L2D4 and half of 6W6P L1.

Hope you're all doing OK, RJ.

I was swimming again today although I only did 30 mins. My arms and legs were much more tired than I expected! I think I might be able to use a rowing machine without aggravating my leg so I'll going to check that with the physio and gym trainer over the weekend. If I'm going to have to get a pool membership I might as well try some of the gym equipment too.

I had a desperate hankering for a bottle glass of Bailey's last night, so I'm off to have one now. Happy weekend everyone Wine

OublietteBravo · 28/01/2017 11:43

I ended up doing a shorter session than planned this morning DH got up late, so didn't finish his session until 15 min into my usual slot - I'm pretty pissed off with him. So Killer Abs L1 for me (rather than NMTZ) Sad

Body Rev workout 3 today, shoulders are aching now. Contemplating undoing all my good work with some pizza and prosecco later...

OublietteBravo · 28/01/2017 13:25

Prosecco. You've just prompted me to move a bottle from the cupboard to the fridge. Grin

Lovely thread. I too started exercise for 2017 and am amazed at how it helps with almost every single thing: mood, energy levels and thus even relationships Grin

Kanyes - 40 lengths ??? I can barely manage one length!! 40 minutes of swimming! I just swam 5 minutes the other day and felt chuffed as it was longer than ever before. May I ask, how long have you been exercising, what's your background? You sound pretty damn fit to me! :)

KanyesVest · 28/01/2017 16:54

I wish I was properly fit and not a stone and a half overweight, Puss! There are sime proper exercise rock stars round these parts 💪 I started exercising properly about 4 years ago and it's been amazing. I'm not all that fit or fast but I'm 3.5 stone lighter than when I started and a whole lot healthier, although I'm still a sugar fiend. I'm actually at the point where I miss it if I can't/don't exercise which is why I'm swimming again. Running is so much handier but after hurting my calf I need to find an alternative for a bit so I'm back in the pool. I had forgotten how much I like swimming though, and it's a good new challenge. And I've been on to amazon to buy some new gadgets Blush. What do you do?

Rest day today so I spent an hour in the garden digging compost out of the bin and into the flower beds. Can't fave weeding though.

Prosecco is a great idea. Going out for dinner with dh tonight (anniversary on Monday) so a celebratory tipple may be in order.

RJnomore1 · 28/01/2017 17:34

Thanks everyone my mums doing ok, needs an angiogram and possibly a stent.

I missed yesterday - weights with my pt, personal best of 47.5kg for 6 reps push press. Aiming for 50kg next month. Then trained myself this morning for my kettlebellcomp next month so now:

PussInCoutts · 28/01/2017 21:42

Thanks Kanye, still sounds unbelievably impressive to me. As for me I only exercise 3-5 minutes each morning. Both dancing and a few sets of push ups. I used to hate exercise so I reckon just keeping it small but consistent is key for me at this point. Hoping to start hitting the gym 2 days a week starting Monday, though, but still do the every morning bit.

I seriously cannot even imagine swimming (or running) for more than 5 minutes! Wow, this is a great thread and very inspirational Flowers
