Juneathon 2016 - anyone want to join us?

Basic premis: try to do 30 min exercise every day in June.

Any kind of exercise: walking, running, swimming, climbing, dancing, circuits - the choice is yours!

From experience, every day can be a bit much. So feel free to join in even if you don't think you can manage this. Last year I aimed for 5 days per week, which worked well for me.

If you want to start before June, there is a thread here

Wow Elephant well done for keeping up with a bad ankle
Well I'm sad to say no walk for me today, the weather has been crap and my smallest dog doesn't like going out in the rain (in all fairness she looks like a drown rat if we do even with a raincoat on).
Weather looks better for tomorrow so I'm hoping to get out

40 min dog walk done

Zame · 30/06/2016 10:37

Half an hour cross trainer, half an hour cycling and 10 minutes rowing yesterday.

Bit of Davina today I think, and a nice walk :)

KeyserSophie · 30/06/2016 12:35

Personal training today- lower body. I think I make the scores on the doors 25/30 so not bad.

ElephantMug · 30/06/2016 13:36

Went to Spin and did some lifting. Managed a 55 kg deadlift and I weigh 58kgs, closest I've ever got to lifting my own bodyweight!
26/30. Well done everyone! Time for a rest tomorrow.

OublietteBravo · 30/06/2016 20:10

Day 40: 6W6P L2. I did it - 30/30 for Juneathon 2016 Smile

Wow elephant that's impressive! Davina DVD this morning and probably another walk. Not sure what I'll fit in around work and stuff this weekend but I'll work it out

Zame · 02/07/2016 16:22

Just an hour walk today, must try harder tomorrow. Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend

OublietteBravo · 02/07/2016 20:19

Rest day yesterday as planned. I was really tempted to have another today. Instead I made myself out my kit on, and I've just done 6W6P L1.

Ooh, we're still going. Sorry- didn't realise.

Right- 1/2 July- total fail due to frantically getting organised to go to UK and then actually flying there

3/4/5- Run every day- 15k/10k/5k.

OublietteBravo · 06/07/2016 21:02

Yes - still going. I find writing down what I've done strangely motivating. Today it was NMTZ.

Rest day today - DD has prize giving, and then we're going out for dinner.

today- walked round Paultons Park all day- that HAS to count, right?

OublietteBravo · 08/07/2016 19:56

I think that definitely counts KeyserSophie

I did 6W6P L1 this evening. It is certainly very humid.

Yesterday- walked round Marwell Zoo all day (can you see a theme here?)

Today- Parkrun- 21:50. So happy- was targeting 22:30.

ElephantMug · 10/07/2016 14:29

That's a super fast parkrun! Nice one.
I did a Kettlebells class on Friday, nothing much yesterday and rode my bike to Body Pump today.
