Sounds perfect feetheart!

Well done FuzzyWhiteLegs and 0ellenbrody0 great debuts.

Well done on your pb MelanieCheeks, cake looks fab!

Well done on getting faster ThursdayLastWeek, I'm still trying to get back to my pb. Need to do more without the dog!

Ran with my neighbour again and she got a pb! She's feeling the parkrun love but I'm worried if I leave her to run alone she'll get down heartened so I'm going to run with her a bit longer I think. Who was it running fritton or has that already passed?

Thanks for all the support guys, this thread is as welcoming as the run itself. Great time fuzzy if I can shave 1 min off then it will be as good as yours!

I'm going to gradually increase my run times during the week to build up my stamina as I did feel like I was going to pass out when I stopped!

FuzzyWhiteLegs · 05/06/2016 10:13

Haha 0ellen I felt sick! I can't imagine going any faster! I did love it tho Grin

chutneypig · 05/06/2016 14:07

It will get easier 0ellen and Fuzzy, parkrun is a great benchmark.

It's great your neighbour is enjoying it cinnamon, wonderful tribute to your support!

Have you sent a photo to my parkruns fb page Melaniecheeks? I'm a little confused BlushConfused

MelanieCheeks · 07/06/2016 07:20

I don't think so.....but there were lots of photos being taken, maybe someone else did?

cinnamongreyhound · 07/06/2016 07:25

Lady with a dog and when I click on the profile it's a lady from Wales. No message, I didn't know if it was meant to be significant and I was being thick. May be totally unrelated!

Definitely not me!

cinnamongreyhound · 07/06/2016 09:33

Ooooooo the plot thickens! Just realised you're in Ireland though not Wales 🙈
Dog looks very similar to Minnie, oh well, perhaps we'll get some clarification Smile

Feet I love your new cover photo. The lady in it was wished a happy birthday thanks to her balloons.... She wasn't too happy.. Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 07/06/2016 21:01

Unknown lady messaged, she's visiting this weekend and wanted to know if she was ok to canicross run, perhaps that's why she sent a photo in case we didn't know what it was?

MelanieCheeks · 07/06/2016 22:44

Ah, good to have the mystery solved!

feetheart · 09/06/2016 14:17

Ooo, I bet she wasn't pleased Halle Shock
I've just used that photo in my run report and on FB to publicise the run report, it's a great picture.
I will add cake pictures from Saturday here to match melanie

Wow, great rainbow cake!

I'll be doing something cake-wise this weekend - Tim Page, who is a 4 time cancer survivor running all of the 22 NI parkruns as a fundraiser, is visiting my local run. So I shall do some suitable iced writing on a bought cake.

There's definitely a market for a supplier of parkrun related stuff, isn't there? 100 balloons, "I'm running my 50th" vests, parkrun motif pastry cutters, banners and badges?

standingonlego · 11/06/2016 10:44

Just home from running with a friend doing her 200th parkrun today Smile. Hot and humid here in Northampton...my legs were like lead after weights session yesterday so was delighted to be doing a run rather than a race Grin

Hope everyone had a great morning, look forward to hearing from you folk later

ThursdayLastWeek · 11/06/2016 12:07

Morning all.
Another 30 seconds off my time, and I managed to run a little bit of each hill this morning. Even though I'm well over my PB, it's lovely how ,yah a little bit of progress can boost your confidence!

Have any if you heard of Emma Stepto? She's an elite runner from Cornwall and she ran Lanhydrock this morning Smile

MyBlackCat · 11/06/2016 12:38

I'm going the opposite way thursday Shock my 2nd slowest parkrun ever today, only beaten by first run following 12+ months out with a knee injury. I'm not far from a worst ever and struggle to believe I was ever able to run as quick as I did just 3/4 months ago.

Anyhow I need to remember I have other priorities now and am working towards a different goal, today was parkrun #48 - the red tshirt will be mine soon then I think I'll aim for the purple one Grin

Hope everyone enjoyed their runs, it was very wet at mine.

cinnamongreyhound · 11/06/2016 12:39

Feeling much better about parkrun today, had a horrible week with grumpy people but this morning has restored my faith! My neighbour got a 2 min pb, fabulous!

Well done ThursdayLastWeek!

A two minute PB? Well done your neighbour!

The fact you're still getting round is fantastic BlackCat, and getting close to the red tee is exciting! I got a medium size and it fit my bump and boobs well over 30 weeks FYI Grin

GeoffreysGoat · 11/06/2016 13:28

Happy parkrun day y'all

Ds1 only ran part of the course today, he was all upset because he hasn't done 100 and he didn't get a balloon! I pointed out he hasn't been able to walk let alone run for 100 weeks yet and promised him a tee shirt when he gets to 10. He's done 6+a load where dh forgot his barcode so I've ordered him a cute purple birdie one off wiggle. In 5-6 which will drown him, but he'll grow right?

0ellenbrody0 · 11/06/2016 15:16

No Parkrun for me this morning. I was so up for it after my debut last week, but a long standing appointment sadly trounced it.
DD and I are going to go and run the route tomorrow and time ourselves Smile

feetheart · 11/06/2016 19:23

I actually got to run today :)
I raced my first 5k for a long time last night and ran hard for a very pleasing 27:58. Was expecting a much slower run this morning as course is hillier, weather was stickier and legs were complaining! Came in at 30:10 which was OK though the 10 secs annoyed me Hmm
I now have plans to run more often, either at home or away and DS and I are listing where we want to visit.

chutneypig · 12/06/2016 07:02

Well done to your friend standing' great achievement and your neighbour cinnamon

I've not heard of her Thursday, bet it caused some excitement though. Glad you're feeling improvements.

The t shirt isn't far as off MyBlackCat have you got plans for the big day?

Better too big than too small Geoffrey great idea to keep him going.

You'll soon learn to avoid appointments on a Saturday now the bugs hit 0ellen Grin

Well done to you feet. How's the tourism list coming on?

A busy, humid parkrun for us yesterday - showed so much of the parkrun spirit.

Hoping to avoid the hail I spotted on the weather app for juniors this morning!

cinnamongreyhound · 12/06/2016 21:22

OK not so fabulous now! Had a mum lie to me to get her dd's time added when she actually forgot her barcode and the amendment I made has messed up someone else's position so I need to reprocess the results and make an adjustment elsewhere SadAngry
