Rooners, will have a look at that kettlebells channel! One of my friends is a now kettlebells fanatic and I'm going to visit her in Belfast this year. Should try to learn some of the moves so we could attend a class together.
Thanks for the Asylum rundown, Roastie! It sounds hard. I think I'd better leave it for a while, since Insanity Max 30 is kicking my bum. The ladder thing just looks so nifty, though! But I have enough nemesis workouts already, like Tonique (1-2 hrs of lunge variations?!).
Big sympathies on the dress. Clothes shopping is a total nightmare and unexpected reflective surfaces in public places are the enemy! I bet you look lovely and are just being hard on yourself, though.
Purple, I've only done each two or three times, but I definitely find Sweat Intervals a bit worse than Friday Fight. This probably means that there is something in the latter that I haven't realised I'm not doing properly yet.
But Sweat has particular moves I hate, like the tuck jump /squat thing where your legs hold shape while you go forward onto your hands and do a pressup- it makes me feel so awkward and ungainly, and I don't know if my form is correct. And the bit where they are all in a circle and punching and yelling MAX OUT gives me the willies. It's a bit like the end of the Wicker Man!
