New thread for parkrunners old and new.

We are a long-running thread, but very friendly - please come and say hello, and chat about PBs, tourism, progress towards tee-shirts and anyything else about parkrun

Me being confused! It's happened a lot this week . A great hard run though!

Hoping to do Norwich next Saturday, just need to persuade my mum!

Currently planning summer holiday trip to the grandparents around Portrush parkrun - flights booked, accommodation being sorted :o

They can't have done all of January yet as I can't order my 100 shirt and I earnt that in early Jan

My profile tells me that I claimed my tee-shirt last July (well I tried to, but it got lost in the backlog). I used the link cinnamon posted to enquire, and just got a standard reply saying that my profile would be opened "soon".

I will give it another few days and email them again. As Thursday says it's a perk, and it will turn up at some point (maybe with my 100 tee-shirt).

Has anyone been to Cambridge parkrun? I have a reason to be in Cambridge at 10:30 on Saturday, so I thought I would squeeze in a parkrun beforehand. I could go to Wimpole again, but can't hang around afterwards which is the whole point of going there because the cake and bacon butties are so good

It's very big now OhOneOhTwoOhThree. Milton country park is very nice but not done parkrun there. My running buddy had the same. She filled in the form last Saturday and was able to order Monday and hoping to have her shirt to wear this weekend, so it's odd that you haven't heard.

The post on the ed page did say early jan baltherskite

I waited till 13th July and then emailed them, as suggested. The response to the email was very quick. I also received yesterday a new barcode plastic wrist band. I found the keyfob tags get worn very quickly, making them impossible to scan.

Don't tell anyone, but I'm planning to get a temporary barcode tattoo on my arm for my 100th run, and pretend it's real

Hi OhOne I got a "holding" email initially too, then took a couple of days for the actions to be done and then a follow up mail. Sure they will sort you soon

Oh, DD has just phoned to say her provisional degree result is a first! Can't put anything on social media until it's confirmed, but I'm so so proud of her.

Not parkrun related, other than I'd mentioned her in relation to my tourism jaunts.
