It's supposed to OhOneOhTwoOhThree, forecast 19C here tomorrow.

Can't you kick him or something karatekimmi Wink. I joked with my friend who I did my 50th parkrun with I'd have to injure her so she didn't get too far ahead of me in number of parkrun's! Just have to keep thinking there's loads more runs to be had including PB's and that having a baby is so worth the time off!

ThursdayLast · 03/05/2015 11:24

How many weeks are you now Kimmi?

karatekimmi · 03/05/2015 13:36

26 weeks so it still feels like ages to go!!

My DH has been doing some group track sessions with a coach and has been making phenomenal progress - knocking over 2 nineties of his parkrun time despite that coaching being for half marathon distance and pace. I think there are a few at club who would help me tie his shoe laces together Grin

I know it will fly by, I'll be back before you know it!

It's MK Marathon day!!!

I'm as excited as only someone who's not running it could be Wink

May the 4th be with you Grin

MelanieCheeks · 04/05/2015 07:12

Belfast marathon here! I'm running the 4th relay leg, so May the fourth is a very auspicious date.

karatekimmi · 04/05/2015 07:14

London marathon ballot open now!! I've entered but I assuming I won't get in!! Grin

ThursdayLast · 04/05/2015 08:20

Good luck Blathers and Melanie!

I've done the same kimmi Grin

feetheart · 04/05/2015 09:00

Ditto what Thursday says :)

cinnamongreyhound · 04/05/2015 16:28

I love it! So many people enter and are relieved when they don't get in, why?!?! Wink

HalleLouja · 05/05/2015 08:58

I am in the ballot.....

In other news we had lots of flip flop wearing peeps at parkrun this week. Blathers for some reason I think you know them.

Blatherskite · 05/05/2015 14:50

We're they Luna Monkeys Halle? Black and yellow vests?

Blatherskite · 05/05/2015 17:32

I got to give crazy marathon running man his 1050-something-th medal yesterday Grin

HalleLouja · 05/05/2015 18:51

One was dressed in a costume if that helps Blathers. I don't remember remember any black and yellow vests but we had a club flash mob and wasn't paying full attention.

cinnamongreyhound · 07/05/2015 13:48

Looking like a wet Saturday here at the moment!

ThursdayLast · 07/05/2015 13:59

I am so excited - our regular tail runner is having the weekend off next week and I jumped in there first to volunteer!

Why does that excite me??? Confused

cinnamongreyhound · 07/05/2015 14:10

It's a nice job ThursdayLast Smile

feetheart · 07/05/2015 14:34

Because you get to put the spirit of parkrun into action by supporting those who put the most effort into their 5k. And you get to hear some inspiring stories :)

Tail runner is our most fought over volunteer role at the moment - now taking bookings for June as May is full :)

ThursdayLast · 07/05/2015 14:50

I knew you guys would understand Grin

MelanieCheeks · 07/05/2015 14:55

I'll be doing my 20th event at Norn Irn's newest venue, Limavady.

The age category record I'm aiming for is 28.35....

karatekimmi · 08/05/2015 18:08

I'm not a fan of tail running personally. I like time keeping best, probably because I rarely get to finish area jobs as mini kimmi isn't trained well enough yet!! He can cope with marshalling and clapping sometimes although can get a bit agro shouting go faster at the slower people
