Just 2.6 from me yesterday, but very enjoyable. I didn't get out until late as was waiting im patiently for DH to get back from a meeting.
cinnamon I am so impressed that you are still running at 28 weeks and still faster than me I could hardly walk my that stage, especially with DC3.

holmessweetholmes · 09/01/2015 14:38

Who's doing Parkrun tomorrow? I think the weather forecast is absolutely dire here, but might force myself to go anyway.

originalpiratematerial · 09/01/2015 14:42

Cinnamon you are awesome! I was like a whale with my DS3, by 28 weeks I could only lumber! Bloody brilliant that you are still running! And yes, faster than me too Blush!

I like when the forecast is bad holmes - they are the days I seem to get a higher place finish Wink

Snow is forecast here in NI, but I'm planning to double parkrun- the usual one, followed by a handicap chase.

feetheart · 09/01/2015 14:54

Anglaise1 - I did my first cross country in October at the grand old age of 52. Our oldest team mate is 79 :o

I can add 7.9 miles from a long club run last night. We usually do about 4.5 miles but one of our group has started her marathon training and all of us are doing the Fred Hughes 10 mile race next w/e and some people wanted to stretch the distance. It actually wasn't too bad inspite of it being my 2nd 8 miler in 5 days - bonkers :)

719.4 + 7.9 + 2.6 from Wise = 729.9

Apophenia · 09/01/2015 15:04

unexpectedly got time for a bonus run! first time I've run in the afternoon, usually go first thing, with an empty stomach - will itmake much difference do we think?

Knackerelli · 09/01/2015 15:04

4.1 from club run last night so 727?

Well done cinnamon ( yes, you're faster than me too....Blush ) I say keep going until you or the dr has good reason to say stop. With DD I did body combat classes until I was 7 months. ( wasn't a runner then)

Knackerelli · 09/01/2015 15:06

734 even

Sorelip · 09/01/2015 15:37

3.11 from me, so 737.11

BlueChampagne · 09/01/2015 15:49

24.86 from me since first run New Year's morning, taking us to 761.97

holmessweetholmes · 09/01/2015 16:31

Gah! Weather is so foul here that our Parkrun is cancelled because of flooding. Sad

cinnamongreyhound · 09/01/2015 16:39

Thank you all, you're very kind, think I'm just lucky and am quite fit and healthy during pregnancy.

My team are panicking about parkrun tomorrow! If winds are too high the country park will shut and we'll have to cancel but until the morning we won't know and we haven't cancelled so far. Worst case is we find out at 8, announce on fb and the rd for the day has to hang around until 9 to let anyone who doesn't have fb know what's happened.

feetheart · 09/01/2015 17:00

As we have so many runners on here now I thought I would mention the Wolf Run for those who haven't been initiated heard.

10k of Water Obstacles Lakes Fields

9 of us ran the Autumn one and had a BALL, 5 of us are already signed up for the Spring one on 11th April and you can be added to the pack if you want to.

No Wolef left behind - AROOOOOOOOO :o

Apophenia · 09/01/2015 17:33

It made no difference! Got a PB! 3.1 from me.

Apophenia · 09/01/2015 17:34

I make that 765?

messalina · 09/01/2015 19:30

Is it too late to join?

My ambitions this year are a sub 20 park run and a sub 3:15 marathon so that I can have a Championship entry to the London Marathon in either 2016 or 2017. I LOVE running!

messalina · 09/01/2015 19:31

And also not to have more than two weeks out for injury this year! Have bought an evil foam roller.

messalina · 09/01/2015 19:32

So far in 2015 I have run 32 miles.

IKYTWTLYA · 09/01/2015 20:26

A teeny 2.2 from me today.

Ran a different route: down hill then back up. The last run of my C25K prog was torture going uphill!

My friend made me keep going though! And I'm glad I did. I could hardly breathe though!

So 767.2?

JapaneseMargaret · 09/01/2015 20:58

Definitely not too late to join!

5.8 miles this morning - fab run, sun was shining, breezy, but warm. Great start to the day.

773 I think.

orangeflutie · 09/01/2015 21:02

I squeezed in a 4 mile run today at lunchtime as wasn't sure how windy it might get later. It's been my first outside run since Sunday as Tuesday and Wednesday were spent in the gym. I don't normally go to the gym but have been tempted by New Year offer. On the Weds I ran on treadmill for 20 mins but despite music found it seemed to take ages, kept looking at the clock and it wasn't movingSmile Def prefer running outside.

TessTackle · 09/01/2015 21:10

Hiya!

I'm back Blush

4.3 from me after well over a month off. Have missed you all greatly Flowers

EElisavetaofJingleBellsornia · 09/01/2015 21:17

I have done another 6 miles since my last post.Smile My run tonight was so windy at points I felt as though I was running in the spot.

MuseumOfHam · 09/01/2015 21:50

It's the Edinburgh great winter run and cross country tomorrow, and have to report it's somewhat on the breezy side out there. Thinking of anyone who will be slogging around Arthur's Seat, it's a hard route even on a nice day, have done it many a time. Was going to spectate, when Mo Farah was taking part, but he's pulled out - I hadn't fully forgiven him for pulling out of the Commonwealth Games - I had tickets for the 5000 and 10000.
