Runners thread number 7

I have a 10k on Sunday which I am feeling less than prepared for, and the stomach bug is just adding to that. I have a feeling I will be the slowest runner!

What Thursday said. Its good to have a rest day.

Oh sigh, I'll skip tomorrow's run then & do a video instead.

It's good TessTackle, if you're loosing weight. I got some from
Aldi last year and ds2 and I ate them all in a day at nearly 300 calories each

Oh wow!! Glad I haven't a clue where the nearest Aldi is now.

Back from a weekend in Spain and delighted to share the surprising news that I managed to get 2 runs done including going past this cool sand sculpture. So that takes us to 790.

However, the nicest sight was the Marbella half marathon - sorry no photos as we were too busy cheering on the lovely fit runners

I wish I had known how much running with other people would improve my motivation! Have now done 4 runs with a club - 3 short runs of just over 3 miles and last night a run of 5.44 miles. Did it in 56 minutes. I am now aiming for a 10k race - never had the confidence before In 9 years of solo running I have improved more and faster in the last 3 weeks than in all that time.
