Open for any runners, or any runners looking to get their 'mojo' back.

I have a 10k on Sunday which I am feeling less than prepared for, and the stomach bug is just adding to that. I have a feeling I will be the slowest runner!

5.6 miles today, easy intervals session ahead of Sunday's Inverness 10k. So 583.3.
Go HalleLouja! It's nice when hard work pays off isn't it?

cinnamongreyhound · 23/09/2014 20:20

4 miles from me and my first fall while running, doh!! Was a very comedy fall, kept running while losing my balance for some time but managed to fall on my bum/hip so plenty of padding! 587.3

EdithDickie · 23/09/2014 20:32

Ouch cinnamon! Hope that you are okay.

2.5 miles for me today.

EdithDickie · 23/09/2014 20:34

589.8

Also I think I am getting a shade faster. Just over 11 minutes per mile (11 minutes 12 seconds) which is a bit faster than normal for me Smile

standingonlego · 24/09/2014 03:57

Be careful cinnamon !

Good running everyone, I have really noticed it is getting dark earlier so we all need to find the high viz stuff??

MirandaWest · 24/09/2014 04:35

Ran 1.9 miles this morning (am on holiday in America - in Boston at the moment. Had to keep up with my boyfriend which was good for me Grin. Was the fastest 3k I've done in a while Smile

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 24/09/2014 07:54

2.6 miles from me this morning, so with mine and Miranda it's now 594.3 I think.

TessTackle · 24/09/2014 09:09

Taken dd to school without deodorant on so I'm rushing home to put that on and then I'll go to my 2nd favourite park, closer to home.

Numpty. Grin

TessTackle · 24/09/2014 11:10

Very damp 2.77 from me, 597.07 total.

ThursdayLast · 24/09/2014 21:21

It really was tonight Tess. My friend and I were having a real aren't-we-lucky-we-live-in-Cornwall love in!
Usually the tide is out and all there is is stinking mud as far as the eye can see!

Definitely NOT cornwall (you lucky people!) but not home either so was a nice change :)

cinnamongreyhound · 24/09/2014 21:27

Attempting my first early morning run since morning sickness took hold, off to bed now to prepare! Wish me luck!

Lovely photos :)

standingonlego · 24/09/2014 21:28

GOOD LUCK Cinnamon - maybe have a ginger biscuit ready just in case :)

ThursdayLast · 24/09/2014 21:33

Wowsers lego what a sky!

It's little moments like that that make me so glad I bother to get off my ass.

Have fun tomorrow cinnamon, be nice to yourself.

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 24/09/2014 21:39

Is that in the north east Lego on a good day I can see that bridge (if it's the one I'm thinking of) from the country road where I go running.

Good luck Cinnamon

standingonlego · 24/09/2014 22:05

Indeed it is biscuits it's the Middlesborough Transporter Bridge seen from town side of the river.

TessTackle · 24/09/2014 22:05

Good luck cinnamon

Thursday I wish I lived by the sea, running in west London parks gets a bit tedious Envy

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 25/09/2014 06:29

Thought it was Lego

Tess it gets tedious running round where I live too. There are only a couple of routes for me too. I'd love to run by the Thames.
