I have been running on and off for about 5 years but my partner I am with now is really supportive and encouraging so I am back out there and last week I did a 4.81km on Monday, then Tuesday a 10.97km (bloody 30 metres shy of 11km). That was in 1 hour 10mins but it was very warm that day.
On Thursday I brought some new trainers (well a birthday present from my parents
so I tried them out on Friday and managed a 10.5km in 56m36s which I am really pleased, definitely my best run ever.
Then Saturday I did a 8.7km in 50m50s but that was with a 111m elevation gain.
Tomorrow I am off out again, I have just started using the app Strava which is amazing as it has segments and you can time yourself against others.
