5.81 ran with running club. 324.7 it was the nice and slow group but we did the distance. Was my first run in the running club.

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 12/08/2014 22:10

Went to my first running club session tonight and I loved it! It's a beginner's group which helps, and met some lovely people. About four miles run, so we're now at 328.7.

cinnamongreyhound · 12/08/2014 22:42

Well done everyone running, I'm going at stupid o clock tomorrow. Think there's been some x-posts we're going backwards! 339.7

HalleLouja · 12/08/2014 22:55

I mistyped and just realised. Doh.

cinnamongreyhound · 13/08/2014 09:44

4 miles from me this morning, little dog went missing for just enough time for me to start to panic but came back looking exhausted and flopped on the floor! 343.7

emummy · 13/08/2014 16:06

347.5 after a surprisingly fast run up horrible hill this afternoon. Would have felt a bit less horrible but I went out too fast so had to walk up bits of the hill!

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2014 19:42

5 miles plus sprints make it 6.1 from me

353.6

Glad the little cinnadog was only temporarily AWOL
And well done emummy I have a serious love/hate relationship with hills!

BetsyBell · 13/08/2014 21:20

Delightful evening run, perfect temperature, beautiful evening sun over fields with silhouettes of hopping bunnies.

Bliss. 5.28 miles which felt like 5k (though I was ready to stop!)

....

103.03

BetsyBell · 13/08/2014 21:21

Doh! I've done it again - adding on from wrong page...

Ooh and only 1 decimal place now:

358..9

CardiffUniversityNetballTeam · 13/08/2014 21:45

Hi everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your running. I have managed 6.4 miles so far this week and I still have my long run to go!
I ran past the Salvation Army hostel this evening and all the people were sitting out on the steps with their cans of special brew and their dangerous dogs on bits of string. And they all gave me a massive cheer!!

CardiffUniversityNetballTeam · 13/08/2014 21:46

So total is 365.3. Smile

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2014 23:14

Cardiff I love that image!
And betsy your run sounds lovely

cinnamongreyhound · 14/08/2014 07:32

Another 4 miles with doggies this morning, who are both fast asleep now!! 369.3

Blatherskite · 14/08/2014 09:54

Haven't updated for a while. Between running and the school holidays, things have been a bit hectic!

I did 3.9 miles worth of running up and down hills last Wednesday which I never got round to adding, 3.2 miles for parkrun on Saturday, I did an 8 mile run on Monday and another 3.6 miles of hills last night so I have 18.7 miles to add to our total making it 388

Blatherskite · 14/08/2014 09:55

That's lovely Cardiff :)

Blatherskite · 14/08/2014 10:05

Just realised that my cool down run is missing from my Garmin. I could potentially add another mile but I'd be guessing.

If it's not on Garmin/Fetch/other running site, it doesn't count right? Wink

postmanpatscat · 14/08/2014 18:39

Cardiff that sounds like it spurred you on!

Swimming in the hotel pool this afternoon inspired me to do my own mini triathlon! I did a 5k run then 8k on the bike so 391.1 miles

zombiesheep · 14/08/2014 21:24

Hi everyone I am back! Signed up for the Norwich Half Marathon in November!

I always lurk here but I'm going to start posting more so I can track my progress! Today I ran 7.2 miles in just over an hour. So that's... 398.3 I think. :)

cinnamongreyhound · 14/08/2014 21:38

Of course it counts blatherskite!

I am too zombiesheep but I will be 20 weeks pregnant by then now so not sure if I will do it, time will tell!

emummy · 15/08/2014 08:34

3 miles up a hill and then some fartlek, so 401.3 I think. It was quite cool, about 10 degrees I think, first time for a while my hands have felt cold on a run!

cinnamongreyhound · 15/08/2014 08:44

Those that aren't parkrunners but have done c25k the weekly news letter included a survery for a study on the effectiveness of c25k apps. If you're interested in taking part this is the link to it, didn't take long.

CardiffUniversityNetballTeam · 15/08/2014 09:57

Good morning runners. I can't decide whether to go out for my long run this morning. I did a bikram yoga class yesterday (it was bloody brilliant! I've signed up for a months trial) and I am sore, really sore!
It's not so much my lower body more my shoulders and core. I don't want to overdo it and injure myself, but I won't have another chance this week to get out and run for longer than about half an hour.
What would you do?

HalleLouja · 15/08/2014 10:00

I am really sore from a HIIT class Cardiff and want to run tomorrow. So am in the same boat for parkrun tomorrow. Am hoping tomorrow will be better but its usually worse two days after.

BlueChampagne · 15/08/2014 14:57

Tough one Cardiff - what did you opt for?

19.26 for me this week taking us to 420.56

CardiffUniversityNetballTeam · 15/08/2014 16:53

I didn't go in the end. While I was getting dressed I realised I couldn't even lift my arms above my head without wincing! It was a pretty easy decision after that! I might have a trundle on the exercise bike tonight and I will hopefully be able to fit in a quick half hour on Sunday evening.
