Well just done my 'race'. It was called the 'crazy cow 10k' all marshals dressed in cow onesies/fancy dress, all the 1k markers had stupid cow related slogans the one at the end being 'give yourself a pat on the back' Confused and the medal wasn't a medal but a cow bell.

Did it In 1:10:36 not bad considering I'm full of a cold n walked a mile of it Grin

Standingonlego · 01/06/2014 11:56

So are we resetting our collective mileometer for June then folks?

What was the final number for May?

Standingonlego · 01/06/2014 11:57

melliebobs that sounds ace - and well done, a great time even without the walking interval. Well done you !

postmanpatscat · 01/06/2014 12:05

Our May total was 1445.6 miles, which is absolutely amazing!

With orange's 4 miles and sirzy's 2.5k (welcome back, btw) and my riverside 18km from this morning our June total so far is 16.7 miles.

Massive congrats to your DS shosha, what an achievement!

postmanpatscat · 01/06/2014 12:12

Well done mellie - already up to 22.9 for June!

Sirzy · 01/06/2014 12:17

I wonder if we can get 1500 miles in June?

Shosha1 · 01/06/2014 12:30

He seems to have stopped just before 71k marker. I hope he is alright

Shosha1 · 01/06/2014 12:35

Back on track, 71k at 8hrs 02

Sirzy · 01/06/2014 12:36

Wow he is doing fantastic.

Watching it on YouTube looks like quite a blockage at the 71m water station.

Most seem to be walking by now. I wouldnt even be able to move. :)

BetsyBell · 01/06/2014 12:57

I can add 3.2 to our June total:

26.1

Shosha1 · 01/06/2014 12:58

16k to go :))))))

feetheart · 01/06/2014 13:04

Wow, we only just missed our movable target, well done everyone :)

Think we were going to do the total in km this time (for all the metric people not me) so 1500 miles would be 2414km. Do we want to round it up to 2500?

Total so far would be 36.8km

I use this conversion link

feetheart · 01/06/2014 13:05

42km then :)

CardiffUniversityNetballTeam · 01/06/2014 13:07

Morning runners.
6 miles this morning which takes our June total to 32.1, what a flying start!
Today was my last long run before Whipsnade next Sunday. Can't decide whether to run once or twice in the week next week.

Sirzy · 01/06/2014 13:08

Km is better for me!

OP posts:
fingersonbuzzers · 01/06/2014 13:14

am I posting in kms now? five from me this morning to test out my new trainers...on phone so can't see the total to add it too..

fingersonbuzzers · 01/06/2014 13:15

dies cardiffs 6 miles make 52k plus five from me making 57k?

neolara · 01/06/2014 15:33

Can I join you please? I'm a long time lurker on this thread. I did a very slow half marathon this morning so I can offer 21k to your mileage count, so 78k total. Am currently slumped on sofa having rated half a tub on Ben and Jerry's.

Shosha1 · 01/06/2014 15:44

DS completed in 10.40.23 :) so very very proud of him.

Standingonlego · 01/06/2014 15:49

Well done Shosha DS that is incredible :) Proud, absolutely - I would be bursting !

Sirzy · 01/06/2014 15:51

Well done Sosha DS, I was just listening to Ellie greenwood on the radio talking about this, sounds amazing. What made your DS decide to do it?

10km from me today so that makes it 88
