Circuit class in the park tonight, she's threatened to be cruel to our abs, do some HIIT and finish off with some kickboxing Grin

Jacksterbear · 04/09/2014 19:02

Sounds fun idkick, enjoy!

Did Shaun T's Speed 2.0 today. It is indeed, as the name suggests, super fast!

IdkickJilliansass · 05/09/2014 19:22

Nothing done today, DS has a sickness bug which DD1 has caught and I feel slightly queasy too. The circuit class last night was brilliant but vicious on my already aching Abs! Grin Do you have the whole T25 collection Jackster?

OP posts:
Jacksterbear · 05/09/2014 20:38

I have the alpha and beta box-set; my Xmas present last year!

Hope you feel better in the morning and don't come down properly with the bug idkick.

No exercise today either - shitty day involving ds not coping v well with the return to school. Feeling exhausted and fragile! Sad

knottyhair · 06/09/2014 06:07

Idkick, hope you & your DCs feel better soon. We've had a tummy bug doing the rounds here but the other end - I seem to be free of it now but DD caught it from me, and DP had it Thurs night & felt rough yesterday, DS OK so far. I did NMTZ once through yesterday but regretted it, felt a bit dizzy at the end and wasn't really able to give it much oomph. Now have a sore throat and sinuses are playing up - bugger.
Jackster, what year has your DS gone back into to? Hope he's OK, and you feel better, it's so stressful when they're not happy. DS has the 11+ next week and he's been pretty chilled about it but all of a sudden his anxieties are kicking in...
Bike ride planned with friends later today, although I'll be doing the Gruffalo trail with DD, which is just as well as I'm crap on a bike Blush.

IdkickJilliansass · 06/09/2014 19:45

Sorry to hear that Jackster how old is DS? I'm ok today but DH has it quite badly now. I made up for yesterday by doing martial arts and Hip Hop AB's. Hope you feel better soon Knotty is that the Gruffalo trail in Wendover?

OP posts:
Jacksterbear · 06/09/2014 20:13

Thanks knotty and idkick, DS is 7 and has ASD with lots of anxiety issues - separation and change of routine being 2 of his biggest problem areas! So start of a new school year is always very rocky.

L2 6w6p done today.

Best wishes to poorly people.Flowers

IdkickJilliansass · 06/09/2014 20:16

Year 3 is a big change too isn't it, my eldest is 7. She is mortified as on Friday she was sick on her new teacher whilst trying to tell her she felt sick! I hope things settle down for him Smile

Jacksterbear · 06/09/2014 21:06

Oh no idkick! Poor dd, how embarrassing. Blush

Luckily at DS' school they don't seem to make a big deal about the move to ks2/juniors. Same building, familiar teachers, not a massive leap up in work terms (I hope!).

knottyhair · 07/09/2014 10:37

Idkick, hope your DD is feeling better, bless her! The Gruffalo trail near us is at Bedgebury Pinetum. But we didn't do it in the end, DD seemed to just want to stay in the play area going down the slide a million times. Jackster, hope next week is better for your DS.
Well, exercise probably out of the window for a few days - DS has been throwing up since half 4 this morning. He'll miss at least one day of 11+ practice before his test on Weds but that's just the way it goes I guess. I'm dealing with DS whilst DP looks after DD in the hope we won't all get it. Jesus, we really are the lurgy household at the moment!

notyummy · 08/09/2014 09:11

Oh dear- sickness seems to be a theme here. Hope those afflicted are feeling better.

Jackster- looking good!

I too have been ill! Chest infection with horrendous coughing and not much sleep. So I did Bobs Yoga on Wednesday when I started to feel rough and then nothing on Thursday and just a long walk on Friday. Did a cross trainer session on Saturday and then managed L4 Ripped yesterday but chest obviously not right as could feel difficulty during the cardio bits. Am currently suffering from a migraine which I often get if tired and run down. Grim.

knottyhair · 08/09/2014 10:13

Notyummy, hope you recover quickly. DS is off today, still not right but no actual vomming since yesterday morning. I keep thinking I feel ill, but I think it's psychosomatic! Hopefully we'll all steer clear and I can get back to it soon! Jackster, how did your DS get on this morning?

IdkickJilliansass · 09/09/2014 11:50

My DD had a massive panic attack about being sick at school again yesterday am and the teacher had to drag her in, she was holding my jumper and screaming Sad The school rang me later to say she was fine and they day passed without incident so she went in fine this am. Did a quick t25 last night and my martial arts this morning. Next month I finally get the new JM box set so will be jillianing a bit more Smile get well soon Notyummy

Hello all - thought I'd drop in to see how you all are -seems like everyone with primary age kids is having the back-to-school lurgies. Flowers 'this too shall pass' - my DD is 15, back to school is pretty painless now, and having to get up early is better for getting the exercise done.

I'm continuing with my plan of a week at each level of shred to ease me back in after the hols - on L3 and really enjoying most of it ... like doing the side planks properly and then thinking, hang on, don't I always have to do those 'anita'? ConfusedGrin

Debating whether to next have a week at each level of Ri30, or do some NMTZ or try out the extreme shed&Shred at last.

Jacksterbear · 09/09/2014 16:58

idkick, that's hard, Sad, unfortunately I'm all too familiar with that kind of anxiety and those kind of school drop-offs. Glad she seems to be ok now.

Errol I think I'd be tempted to mix it up a bit as Ripped is so similar to the shred!

Well I had the first Insanity class, and it was very doable - although disappointingly pretty much everyone else there was doing the modified moves, so the instructor spent most of the time demonstrating the modified moves too, leaving me feeling very self-conscious as the only one doing the "full" versions of all the moves!

knotty and notyummy hope you're both feeling well today!

ErrolTheDragon · 09/09/2014 17:03

Bit of a stealth boast there from Jackster Wink - well done you! Grin

Jacksterbear · 09/09/2014 17:10

Yeah I know!Blush that!s kind of how I felt in the class - like a bit of a show-off!

ErrolTheDragon · 09/09/2014 17:48

Hey - you've worked to get to that point, think of yourself as inspiration for those who aren't yet at full Insanity. Grin

Jacksterbear · 09/09/2014 17:57

Grin thanks

IdkickJilliansass · 09/09/2014 18:29

Well done Jackster, it's not showing off as Errol said it hard work paying off

IdkickJilliansass · 10/09/2014 12:00

I did NMTZ last night for nostalgia, a bit of hip hop abs this am now i'm off to work

OP posts:
Jacksterbear · 11/09/2014 09:14

idkick snap - I did NMTZ yesterday. It was quite tough! Mixture of 2 and 3kg weights. Circuit 4 nearly had me in tears (and that was with 2kgs Blush). Today my shoulders and arms are really stiff and sore.

IdkickJilliansass · 11/09/2014 21:31

I hate shoulders (circuit 1) went for a quick run tonight and then on ro the circuits class. We did a hundred reps each of four different exercises and I did 100 full press ups! Cery pleased as for years I could barely manage one or two proper ones Smile

OP posts:
knottyhair · 12/09/2014 06:11

Just popping on to say I've now got a fecking cold/cough so haven't managed anything at all the past few days. Keep it up, and I'll be back on the Jillian bus asap!
