I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

I must say I found day 2 harder going than day 1, mind you I did put a bit more oomph into it

I do like the having to do it everyday methodology as it is making me do it, ordinarily I would think 'oh I'll do it later' but later doesn't always materialise Smile

I'm moving over from the Feb shred thread, just done L1D5 with only one rest day so far. I might have to go those inclined press ups a try as mine are completely hopeless, I can only bend my elbows a fraction and then I have to come up.

You stopped aching after day 4? I hope so, did it for the first time this morning and feeling a bit sore now. But I guess three days is not too long to go! Will be getting up and doing it again tomorrow morning first thing ( before I'm awake enough to think about it!)

GandT.....Lindt has is doing 6week 6 pack, she's already completed 30Day shred. Some of us that save also finished shred are now doing ripped in 30 so we've got a few going on here! Quite nice really as you can get advice on what you're doing or what to do next.....hope you're enjoying the shred Grin

L1 day 3 of the shred, done.

I had very sore muscles on Friday and Saturday but hopefully it will better tomorrow.

It also helps if I remember why I'm doing this.

Hello - another joiner from the February thread here. I'm on L4 of Ri30 so nearly done and will be doing it all over again in March. Great to see so many new shredders - stick with it, you won't regret it. I had the 30DS DVD still in its wrapper for a year before I started it in September. Now I'm addicted. For anyone who is just starting a good tip is to measure yourself. A lot of people lose inches rather than weight when shredding (unless following a diet plan as well).

Mummytom I have the DVD that I bought for amazn but you can find level one on youtube.

I was supposed to start today but haven't. Procrastination on DAY 1! Sad . There's 33 minutes left for today to be officially over so I suppose I could still do it before I get into bed.... If I was really serious about it I would...

Also just done level1 day 2. Feeling sore and have aching legs, but really pleased I got up and did it.

Can someone tell me about rest days, do you have to take them? I worry I'll lose my get up and go if I stop. But if they help then obviously I give it a go. Its just that they're not mentioned on the DVD.

No Mummytom there are three levels, I got the dvd off amazon (quite cheaply I think) I think that you're meant to do 10 days on level 1 then 10 level 2 and the final 10 on level 3.

Just completed L1D2, found it easier than yesterday but think it's because I knew what to expect. However, my knees are beginning to hurt.

GandT I feel the same as you about rest days, so I'm going to try and do it every day - but I think I'm going to find it difficult to fit it in/find the energy on the days I work.

Rest day for me, my bodies aching today!! Going to have a swim and jacuzzi a bit later and see if that sorts me out, might even have a short run on treadmill. Will be back to Ri30 tomorrowGrin

Jillian does say on Ri30 that you must have a rest day each week! I'm not very good at taking rest days but it helps your body to mend and you often come back stronger after a day off! Do watch your knees!!! Some ladies have had to give up because of their knees but if they're hurting then modify the movements to make them easier for you on your knees!!

And I agree with what Will said.....for all you newbies, take measurements!!!

L2D5 just done.

Had a couple of days off last week as went to Ceroc on Monday so no time then I hurt my hip dancing so had to take Tues off as well. Anyway - back on it now!
