I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

Ri30 L2 D 9 done. I'll move on to L3 next week.

Georgina, I've done shred 3 times now - but doing it better/bigger weights/more intensely each time. Nowt wrong with that if it suits you!

G&T - yes, Ri30 is about the same length as shred. L1 is maybe a bit easier than L3 of shred but it gets harder so I reckon it's a good one to move on to.

IdkickJilliansAss · 28/03/2014 10:28

Lindt is traumatised by L2 6w6p Wink

StuntNun · 28/03/2014 11:07

I'm pretty sure I already have a six pack, it's just a very well cushioned six pack. Wink

IdkickJilliansAss · 28/03/2014 11:26

Mines a wrinkly six pack Grin I've lost just over a stone since January on the plus side

Lindt70Percent · 28/03/2014 12:39

IdkickJilliansAss Grin I am traumatised! Still got big bruises on one leg from whacking it with my 2.5kg weight while staggering around my bedroom trying to keep up. Ooo, having flashbacks.

IdkickJilliansAss · 28/03/2014 12:43

I tried it once and gave up, at least you persevered

GeorginaWorsley · 28/03/2014 13:35

Done L2 again today.
I don't like the skater things though at all.
May do NMTZ later or tomorrow for a change.

Lindt70Percent · 28/03/2014 14:57

GeorginaWorsley, I hated those skater things too. It was not pretty when I was doing those!

IdkickJilliansAss - Over a stone is amazing! I've lost 6lbs. I'm sure I could lose more if I stopped eating chocolate and drinking wine. Also, I haven't done a JM session today. H decided to work from home again which always cramps my style.

IdkickJilliansAss · 28/03/2014 15:17

I haven't done anything either, DS has been unsettled so I'm having a rest

spinningirl10 · 28/03/2014 17:02

hi ladies,

I'm taking a rest day as well today. I hardly slept last night and when the alarm went off at 6am I switched off and had another hour in bed :)

Will be back at it tomorrow!

IdkickJilliansAss · 28/03/2014 17:09

One of my close friends is a personal trainer abd she told me that it is on the rest days that the magic happens so we're all golden!

Lindt70Percent · 28/03/2014 19:47

Oh. I've just done KB&T L1D2. I'm not golden!

ErrolTheDragon · 28/03/2014 20:13

I've got a 6-pack... of uncooked white bread rolls Grin

yadahyadah · 28/03/2014 20:40

Flipping heck. D1 L2 30DS. Ow. Ow. Ow. However, I did it.

GeorginaWorsley · 28/03/2014 21:06

Have watches Ripped In 30 on YouTube and am considering attempting it tomorrow ....

I now substitute another cardio move fir the skater things!

oohdaddypig · 29/03/2014 06:52

What's wrong with skaters? A walk in the JM park compared to the hell that is press ups!

Off on hols - NMTZ packed. Am I desperately sad?

Also just received delivery of bob's kettlebell workout which I shall try and report back on... But not for another week or so.

N

StuntNun · 29/03/2014 07:24

DaddyPig Bob has a video on YouTube that shows the basic kettlebell moves which is supposed to be useful before starting his workouts. The reviews of his DVDs say they make JM look like a walk in the park

GandTnow · 29/03/2014 07:27

Like your style Errol!

KB&T L1 D6 doneGrin

Oohdaddy, have a nice holiday!

StuntNun · 29/03/2014 10:34

30DS L3D1 done. We get to see Natalie's tummy on level 3. AIBU to be just a little bit in love? Anita is too perfect and intimidating but Natalie... Forewarned is forearmed so I knew to vacuum before level 3 or I would have been sneezing on those Superman poses. Is it just me or is level 3 a lot more fun than level 3? After working through levels 1 and 2 it's great to know how quickly I'll improve on the level 3 exercises.

StuntNun · 29/03/2014 12:19

Also first proper kettlebell session done with my new 4 kg bell. I definitely needed it, those website advising starting with an 8 kg bell are either craaaazy or doing a very different workout to the DVD I have. The 8 kg bell is fine for the double handed leg work but there's no way I could press it above my head one-handed at this stage. I think I'll need to look at YouTube for some more instructional videos as I'm not certain of my form with the kettlebell. Tbh I hadn't even heard of them before this thread.

It's weird that a few weeks ago I wasn't doing any exercise other than walking and now I have a little fitbell rack with a couple of kettlebells beside it and a small stack of exercise DVDs.

Oh and I tried the plank naked to see what my tummy looked like. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! All the flab just hangs down loose with nothing inside it! I suppose that's good in that it shows I don't have visceral fat, it's all subcutaneous fat... but my first response was, "Oh my god I need liposuction." I also tried the stomach vacuum looking in the mirror and it is awesome! My waist looks tiny when I do it and there's definitely a six-pack under those abs. Just got to keep on working on the exercise and lose a bit more weight and I'll be beach ready in a few years.

Sorry for all the exclamation marks. I think exercise leaves me really pumped.

IdkickJilliansAss · 29/03/2014 12:26

Do you have DC Stuntnun if ao could it be loose skin?

IdkickJilliansAss · 29/03/2014 14:00

NMTZ and KB&T L1 done

LakeFlyPie · 29/03/2014 14:24

Ri30 L1 D8 done, think I'm ready for L2, maybe tomorrow.
Errol you're right about the Lycra, will be demoting cotton joggers to pajama drawer.

LakeFlyPie · 29/03/2014 14:25

Found my missing dumbbell BTW, it was in the playroom not the washing machine!
