I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

oohdaddypig that's interesting that you've found the same. JM herself is quite stocky round the middle but obviously very toned.

I've had three children but tummy has always been quite flat despite that. Not sure about separated stomach muscles, I've not noticed that but I know other mums who've complained of it. I honestly don't want a six pack, just to be toned. I may cut down on the abs stuff. Thighs and upper arms are what I'm looking to improve.

Level 3 day 2. Seem to have moved over to exercising later in the day. Although this means I spend all day thinking "Oh I must do JM later", which is annoying; I think it means I give it a bit more welly as I'm a bit more awake!

Total respect to those doing two work outs a day.

30DS L2D8 done and I'm half way there! I did 20 minutes of Pilates as well so I'm definitely done for the day. Now for dinner then a bath then bed. Grin

Finally done Ri30 L1 D5.
Had a weird headachey / nausea bug (I think) since mid week which has curtailed my Shredding but I bit the bullet today inspite of still feeling a bit queasy and it was fine, actually enjoyed it.

Good to see everyone cracking on with JM, need to catch up properly with thread.

I agree about skipping to L3 of 30DS, I liked L2 the least disliked it the most of the 3 levels.

Sort of below shoulder level.
Must have over done it yesterday!

I've got one DD off school today and hate an audience so probably wont be JM'ing today but I do have a pilates class tonight so that may have to do!

Ri30L2D5 done. My back seems ok now so starting to do some extra planks as well again, but only 3x30 sec extended arm for today.

About to try that 'stomach vacuum'.

Life has got in the way today and I'm unlikely to be able to Shred. I now remember why I get up early to do this! Getting it done first thing makes life a lot easier. Will have to jump to it in the morning.

Going to try the stomach vaccum thing.

I know March is all but over, but can I join? I did day 1 of level 1 this morning, and boy was it hard! I managed most of it though. I will be trying to do this 4 of 5 mornings M-F, with at least 3 gym visits over the week, and 2 jogs of at least 5kms on weekend. I'm determined to compete in Tough Mudder in July (gulp!)

Welcome degust.....the muddy thing sounds good!! I did a commando challenge 2 years ago, maybe it's the same thing......it was 5k running through waist high water and clambering through stinking tunnels!! I'm not sure I would say I enjoyed it but our team came 3rd overall out of about 200 teams!

G&T.....I definitely find it easier to do it early!

Couldn't get to the gym this aft so just did NMTZ, 1st time I've done that dvd and its fab, would recommendGrin

No 30DS for me today as I was metafitting (my thighs are on fire!). Think I'll take the advice given on board and skip to L3 next time I do it, it's got to be better than forcing myself to stick to L2 and it seems more enjoyable from what you've all been saying. Will report back in due course!

Spinning - 5k running through waist high water???!! That's insane! I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Really intrigued by the vacuum stomach thing. Watched the youtube video and tried it and it's easy enough to do. Is 3 lots of 10 second every day enough to make a difference? That'd be amazing if it is!

Also did a lovely brisk walk for 45 mins in glorious spring sunshine.

I did D7 L1 of 30DS today. Surprised that I even managed it over the weekend which is most unlike me. Thick stomach is definitely not what I am hoping for, however, so I shall be heading off to check out stomach vacuuming forthwith.

Hi everyone
I did level 1 day 2 on Saturday, ran today and will do JM again tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. My 3 year old has taken to sitting on sofa and just watching! It doesn't seem to bother me. The cats get in the way though...
I might get up earlier so I can shred when I get back from my run then I can do it 6 days a week. I'm keeping Sunday as my day off. The running definitely makes the cardio bits easier but I struggle with the upper body stuff - I can't even do one proper press up:-(

I have done level 2, day 1 today. My stomach is aching. Got to do it again tomorrow as dh is working late.

You're all doing great, i do feel like i've slacked off a bit and just done cardio at the gym.

30DS L2D9 done so one more day and I'm going to move up to level 3. I had an hour of Pilates this morning as well and I am done in! I'd better have abs of steel tomorrow.

I haven't done anything since Thursday. Had inlaws staying Friday until Sunday and have had a terrible headache all day today (most unlike me, I rarely get headaches).

Inlaws were fine but on Friday night a 'friend' told me I'd really upset another friend. The way she told me was very humiliating and embarrassing. Also, it didn't make any sense and I think she's stirring for some reason. I haven't been able to get hold of the 'upset' friend in order to figure out what's really going on (she's really bad at replying to texts, emails or answering her phone and has always been like this with everyone so I don't think it's significant). Anyway, this has had me in a real downward spiral all weekend and is probably why I had the headache today as haven't been able to sleep past 5am.

Anyway, that's all tmi. Tomorrow I'm back on the programme. 6W6P L2D3 here I come .... gulp. Grin

Oh Lindt - I'm sorry - that's not nice. Why oh why do people stir? I can't cope when people aren't just straight. I hope you get it sorted and your stirring friend is doing only that!
