Over on the Parkrunners Anonomoyous thread there has been a cunning plan being hatched for a summer 10k meet up. Picking up on excellent suggestion from thenightsky here is a shiny new thread for us to use to plot.

Ill do wolfrun but its DD's first bday on the 7th so if we do it I can only commit to the 6th if we are doing the autumn one.

I think I'd be up for a wolf run (says she who has sworn not to do any obstacle-type run ) but it's the same w/e as GNR. If I get through the ballot I'll be up there.
I could be 'old gimmer' wolef :)

tiredemma - me too, just couldn't justify the membership cost though was SO tempted :)

I did it in 2012- Im in the west midlands so when you factor in the petrol and accom costs PLUS registration fee- makes it too expensive.

feetheart You and me are the same age and there's no way I'd manage the obstacles that are in that Wolef run!

Can we get Wolef Team printed on the MN team t-shirts though. That would make my day

If you look at the wolf run site though you can opt out of any obstacles that you dont feel you can do- they have routes around them.

ha ha. Its the only reason I am doing it! I know if I cant do a part of it I can jog around!

I am scared of putting my head under water....so reassurance on opt outs is good. I know that this is pathetic....i cannot even put my head under the shower (risk of outing myself here with level of silliness)

standing I'd not put my head under murky water to be fair.

I am just at around 5k and hoping to get to 10k by May so maybe count me in.

Am up for Whipsinade. Its nice and close to my house.

I am a woolly hugger as well as a woolly runner (I was part of the MN BUPA 10K team for World Child Cancer last year). May I suggest that the Wolef Team consider trying to raise money for a good cause?
