Over on the Parkrunners Anonomoyous thread there has been a cunning plan being hatched for a summer 10k meet up. Picking up on excellent suggestion from thenightsky here is a shiny new thread for us to use to plot.

So who's in?

feetheart I wanted to do the Reindeer run but I was running somewhere else on the same day. Might put it on my 2014 list too :)

feetheart - a friend of mine did a colour run last year and really enjoyed it

feetheart definately up for the colour run, some NCT folk did it last year and it looked great fun.

OhOne like the all points of the compass idea.

Woburn is do-able for me too :)

It is a series of 3 and you can choose 5, 10 or 15k. Did it last year and it was lovely in the snow

So need to get out the calendar and a map to get organised :)

Colour run looks like fun but it's blinking expensive!

Whipsnade Stampede is 8th June this year. I haven't heard of the Woburn one; it sounds good as well, but I'm happy to remain on the other side of the fence to the animals!

Depending where it is, I'm up for it.

Gah! Almost the only thing in my diary (apart from school holidays starting and finishing ) is SIL's wedding on 7 June, which means I won't be able to do Whipsnade.

Still thinking about Wetherby (I don't live near, but have family who do ) - anyone else up for it?

Excellent Whipsnade are doing another one. Will sign DS and I up asap :)

Blatherskite - I agree its pricey. Its costing DS and I just as much to do a 5k run as it is for DH and DD to go to the Ukelele Festival of Great Britain for the whole of that w/e but I couldn't resist :)

I'm not sure if Woburn do an official run. We just go round ourselves :)

I'll have to wait until payday, but also planning to do Whipsnade.

I tried to sign up for Whipsnade but the page isn't live yet. You can fill in all of your details but it goes no-where. I can't seem to pin anyone down to a date it will actually open but it is 'in the next few days' apparently.

I emailed yesterday, via a link on there I think, and got a reply saying that it would be open in 'the next week or so' and a promise to email me to let me know.
