Not sure where August went to, but September is upon us and the shredding continues!
join us here, all current shredders, hopeful shredders to be, rebooting shredders and nearly finished shredders, for support, encouragement and occasional necessary kicks up the bum...

I joined The Biggest Loser Club and counted my calories. I lost 30% of my body weight and kept it off for two and a half years. I upped my intake of veg and started cooking separate meals for myself from the rest of the family.

Besides that, I did lots of Jillian and Bob workouts that I'd follow from Youtube but really, running was my thing. I loved running. I'd jump on the treadmill every morning for a 5k as soon as DH left every morning for the 50 min school run. Then I'd be showered, dressed and with breakfast ready by the time he got back. Oh how I miss those days of perfection! :(

I've become such a lazy blob these days. Can barely get through half a day without chocolate. The stone that I've regained has crept back on over 2-3 months. I know I can lose it- I've done it before. I just need to start.

L2D5 here, halfway through.

I think I'll try ripped when I've finished shred but if it doesn't agree with me I can go back to shredding.

I still haven't done anything about my diet, though had a 3800 cal deficit last week, including exercise. I need to be in good shape by Xmas...and beyond of course.

Peeking in for motivation - won't be home til nearly 7 tonight, so to Shred first or have dinner first? If I put DD to bed quickly it probably makes more sense to Shred and get it over with. Must make sure DH has given DD dinner before he comes to pick me up.

I ache all over after yesterday! Took the dog out for an hour after Shredding and just felt knackered the whole time. I thought once I'd warmed up a bit my legs would stop feeling so tired but they didn't, and the walk had an awful lot of uphill and down dale.

I've been toying with low-carb for the last week or so - drank an awful lot of wine last night, though. I've been gaining and losing the same 2 lbs over and over for a month, so I must buckle down and get serious and stop eating cookies at the weekend!

Oooh excellent stuff, I'm waiting for my DVD to arrive (hopefully today!) so I will be shredding (shedding too please) as soon as I can!

Restarted L1D1 today, need to keep motivated, got half way and stopped twice before due to not finding the time. I can't do the push-ups yet though! I wouldn't eat just before shredding cheddar! Why does the music suck so much? Anyone found a YouTube mix that works? Trying to give up sugar - massive sugar junkie...

Right, got up early before school run and did Day 2!

By God it hhhuuurrrtt! Not quite as out of puff as yesterday, probably because the moves were less energetic due to the AGONY. Now it hurts to go upstairs, to go downstairs, to pick up DD, to go to the loo, to pick up cup of tea - you get the picture. Oww.

However, feeling mega virtuous Grin and I do believe it has improved my mood. Must be those endorphins.

trucks I hope you are right because this pain is seriously impinging on my smug-excercised-already mood.

cheddar, definitely Shred before tea. That's why I got up so early - to get the damn thing over with...

I got my DVD about a week ago but still haven't started Blush. Definitely won't today as I'm going to Zumba tonight. But if that doesn't kill me (it hasn't been on for the last three weeks), I'll definitely give it a go tomorrow.

Im about to shred day 26, im so sad ive sat and made a chart for ripped so I can score each day off like I did for shred!

I cant shred before eating I never have the energy I usually do it after lunch id probably struggle after dinner though as my energy is zero at the time of day - good luck everyone if we keep this up we will be toned goddesses come Christmas! Wink

(Do them holding furniture and extra tricep stretches are sadly missing too)

Can I ask everyone, do you all get changed in to sports bra, keep fit gear etc to do Shred? I think that's what puts me off (doesn't take much!) I feel like if I could just shove DVD in and just do it it might be easier?? But then I would still have to shower and change afterwards! I'm just lazy aren't I??!

defo need sports bra! I do it In shorts and sports bra and trainers - trainers are a must I used to do it barefoot and really hurt myself

iced toned goddesses by Christmas sound great to me! I've not been toned since first DC 10 years ago!
andipandi I don't wear a sports bra, as I have teeny boobs but wear regular bra, a sports vest with support in and a pair of knee length yoga/harem pants. I got so hot that I have considered doing it in my undies! Got proper running trainers though as it is high impact. I always need to shower after!

I'm so knackered after today's workout I had to scroll to find out what day I'm on

I normally shred in the morning but we've been out all day so just done it now
