(previous thread)

That's "king" as a suffix not a prefix. Also part of a phrase.

So choices for the UK:

  • two fingers up to Brussels. And see any remaining exports have to go to somewhere that isn't the EU (or that adheres to there standards. The lisst may not be a match)
  • Just accept this, and get on with it, and wonder why the UK had no say in it.

I'm sure the usual less than stellar intellects will be along to tell us that as long as we have blue passports it was worth it.

Keen readers will not have needed to get into this article to know the UK government is already (as per) bottling it, and refusing to engage with anyone from the UK toy industry.

Part-time and shift workers to lose up to £248m holiday pay in UK rule change

Experts say alteration to holiday rights is one of the most significant erosions of employment protections since UK left EU

Thats absolutely disgusting and will impact really strongly on women. Where can we make a massive fuss about this?

From twitter;

BREAKING

Johnson was TOLD to publish his pro Brexit article by his Telegraph bosses, and also, if he did not back Brexit, he would lose his £275,000 salary from the Telegraph.

Would that be the same Johnson who was going through a divorce, and also had a large value of child support payments outgoing, who simply could not afford to lose his job at the Telegraph?

That would be a yes.

Would that be the same Telegraph that is owned by ex pat Barclay press barons, who absolutely hated the idea that the EU would remove tax haven benefits, and therefor loved the idea of Brexit?

That would be a yes.

Would that be the same Telegraph that received several million from Russia to distribute Russian propaganda inserts in its pages?

A Russia run by Putin, that is anti UK, anti EU, and pro Brexit?

Yes again.

mathanxiety · 21/12/2023 04:03

Yup, he's a shill.

beguilingeyes · 21/12/2023 07:36

Treasonous scum. He is beneath contempt and yes swans off into the sunset unscathed. It's beyond infuriating.

The Express is throwing another hissy fit

Today in Express funhouse mirror world, it's considered a betrayal that the EU left the UK, a non-EU country, out of its pan-EU transport plans...

Rational people would see it for what it is: Brexit.

HannibalHeyes · 26/12/2023 12:03

I saw that one! I was almost tempted to go on their website and comment, but I dread to think what the knuckle-draggers will have written!

A sad loss for European politics and humbling to learn some more, on his death, about the one politician who could have made me an enthuisiast for the EU projec. Yes! you can believe it or not, but that was absolutety possible before the referendu and this German titan made it so...

Wolfgang Schäuble: Merkel's no-nonsense finance minister dies aged 81 - BBC News

A sad loss, unlike the other being reported today...

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble (L) listens to Chancellor Angela Merkel as they attend a debate on the consequences of the Brexit vote at the lower house of parliament Bundestag in Berlin, Germany, June 28, 2016.

Although never chancellor, Wolfgang Schäuble was one of Germany's most influential politicians.

The Tories chocking as Brexit turns to dust in their mouths. Serves the cunts right. Looks like the deal I did with the devil to accept Brexit in exchange for the Tories existence is being honoured. Good old St. Nick - always delivers.

As the Tories well know.

(and chefs kiss for the "52%" trolling)

The 10,000-person MRP poll by Focaldata also revealed a high level of interest in tactical voting, and widespread dismay with Brexit. Some 52 per cent, potentially representing 16 million voters, said they would consider voting tactically.

Shoddy beyond belief...
