Apparently the usual landlady over ordered on Bar nuts on the last thread. Just step over them if you find them here, as we haven’t had a chance to clear them up yet.

Welcome to all friendly parties!

You're so clever...

Yes I am 😍

DorisDaysDadsDogsDead · 31/10/2019 10:50

You, apparently, think that posting memes makes you appear witty and clever.

I really don't want to get into the proverbial "battle of wits with an unarmed man".

Epicwaffle · 31/10/2019 10:51

“I really don't want to get into the proverbial "battle of wits with an unarmed man".”

Why are you here then? Don’t make me get my glitterball out... Wink

You're probably right. I should leave before my brains dribble out of my ears...

settles down with packet of crisps to enjoy the irony of Misti doing Cummings’ work

It’s not even just misti, there’s several of them who I thought were better than that but clearly not.

Epicwaffle · 31/10/2019 11:22

“It’s not even just misti, there’s several of them who I thought were better than that but clearly not.”

I honestly don’t know why they bother after 3 1/2 years of the same. It’s just so boring and pointless. I think it’s easy to forget, that whilst only a few of us hardy types are still here on the frontline (after a decent period of time out in my case) just trying to chat our way through it all (god knows why Grin). There are probably scores of lurkers reading, and frankly, how does it look to them?

Anyway, they can fill their boots. It used to upset me (in real life, because, you know, I am a real person, not just a faceless keyboard user), but now I just see it for what it is and laugh. Wink

As always, the arms is open and welcome to all, we serve ale, wine, spirits and snacks in all colours and flavours. But we have one simple rule.

DON’T BE A TWAT.

OP posts:
Mistigri · 31/10/2019 11:31

How are you going to enforce that rule?

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 11:33

Mr Farage is disappointed.

"It is October 31st and we are not leaving the EU.

This is the second big broken promise from a Conservative prime minister in the same year.

We need a clean break now, not a new EU treaty."

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 11:39

How are you going to enforce that rule?

Most people are self aware enough that it doesn’t need enforcing.

Sadly some people clearly aren’t

Interesting poll stats there @DustyDiamond

Would that secure a Tory majority under FPTP? Not completely up on my parliamentary majority stats! 😬

I can’t imagine a lib lab coalition happening in reality, but theres always the danger...

Is anyone else irrationally annoyed by Corbyn's pronunciation of 'issues'?
It makes my teeth itch.

Epicwaffle · 31/10/2019 11:51

I really hope BXP have the good sense to step back in leave areas. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Nigel really needs to have a cold shower and put his carrot away. 🤢 (sorry 😂)

In the spirit of fairness, I will open a small bar wager on Boris. How many times will he say “get brexit done” in his first electioneering speech? Grin

The winner gets to take home our much beloved “I like pig butts and I cannot lie” dartboard in honour of Dave (DC, not the other Dave) the twat.
