I don't really feel qualified to start a Westminstenders thread but we need a new one....

Colour me surprised about the odious Hoey. She'll only be voting against because her true party is opposed. Sweet FA to do with Labour opposing it Hmm

Basilpots · 18/10/2019 18:42

Just I will look at the Panelbase poll but I am out tonight. It will be about 5 ish point difference at best (depending on which golf club they went to) Grin

Hoooo · 18/10/2019 18:43

I struggle with admiring the rebels...

I have been grateful to them for their stance and - in some cases, bravery - but then I remember that these are the same people who voted through austerity with much glee.

It's such a mess :(

I now do to Cendrillon what I do to Mystery (not that he dares graces us with his word diarrhoea that often any more as he gets owned every time Wink): scroll past her posts. (Although I'll acknowledge that he/she is not as bad as Mystery Wink)

Driedlimes · 18/10/2019 18:50

@Hoooo
I think the difference is that the rebels at least thought they were doing the right thing in implementing austerity. I believe they were wrong, but their view was politically predictable, conservative mainstream & not necessarily self seeking.

This lot are very different.

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 18/10/2019 18:51

Did CendrillonSings post something? I took some of my brexit Imodium earlier and must have missed the post.

bellinisurge · 18/10/2019 18:53

Ignore knobheads.

colouringinpro · 18/10/2019 18:55

Thanks LQ also v happy to share. Trauma induced exhaustion is winning this week...

Sebastian Payne@SebastianEPayne

And now there were 10:
@OnnMel is backing Boris' deal.

By our numbers, Boris Johnson has a majority of two for his deal tomorrow

It's the glee about what's going on that really rankles with Cendrillon. How anybody can blindly and gleefully be smug about BoZo and his cronies destroying the U.K., I have no idea. It makes me sick that somebody is so pathetic to be so pleased about it actually.

Looks like I missed a toothbrush...happy to share though!

I do find myself nodding along to @Oakenbeachand understanding their logic and analysis though.

ListeningQuietly · 18/10/2019 19:07

@nowordforfluffy - you are on the bristles list Grin

Hoooo · 18/10/2019 19:09

I am watching bohemian rhapsody and am in denial.

Violetparis · 18/10/2019 19:10

Has Norman Lamb confirmed whether he is voting for the deal ? Will Jo Swinson remove the whip from him if he does ? Imagine if it got through on one vote ! Shock

JustAnotherPoster00 · 18/10/2019 19:16

Mark Francois with his correct voice

Jim Allister@JimAllister

While the common dismay of Unionism will have to be harnessed constructively,

hard questions will have to be answered as to how Unionism was led into the position where it was so catastrophically betrayed.

========

You were DUPed, you fools and you've only recently noticed 🤦🏻‍♀️

The Tories have done it before

Edward Carson, 1921:

"What a fool I was.
I was only a puppet, and so was Ulster, and so was Ireland,
in the political game that was to get the Conservative Party into power."

thecatfromjapan · 18/10/2019 19:29

OK.
I'm back to working to get Labour elected now.

Thank you, Listening. 😁

My MP is a Tory twat. No need to even check his voting intentions.

Two and a half years ago Brexit’s alarm clock went off.

Tomorrow it decides whether it’s going to put on some underwear

Might I suggest spending £3 joining Labour and voting to de-select her, Flouncy?

If she votes with Johnson.

You'd be doing everyone a favour.

dreichsky · 18/10/2019 19:37

My MP is a Tory twat. No need to even check his voting intentions.

That would be where I am as well, my MP devotes himself to opening car doors for BJ and carrying his bag around!!

NoWordForFluffy · 18/10/2019 19:40

Mine is apparently on Gove's team these days.

I emailed him a few weeks ago and told him not to bother replying if he was going to send me the same old rubbish which didn't address the issues I was raising. He hasn't replied. So surprised. Not.
