Mrsr8, I have some dark chocolate in the cupboard you can have. But I need to wait and see what comes of hazard getting some reassurances about croissants from delia smith.

BigChocFrenzy · 12/12/2018 20:24

Well, considering how long it took them to count correctly to 48 ...
but it probably makes a difference when ERG are doing the count

SusanWalker · 12/12/2018 20:25

Looking forward to dead ringers on friday.

1tisILeClerc · 12/12/2018 20:26

Bellini
I might have missed the page where the croissants entered the discussion, I thought the UK having decided to leave the UK are now trying to steal France's treasures. If we are trading edibles I will swap oatcakes for sprouts.

Hazardswan · 12/12/2018 20:28

Delia Smith has reassured me my chocolate crossiants are the only crossiants to deliver crossiants means crossiants.

I hope to have a long partnership with lemon drizzle.

ClashCityRocker · 12/12/2018 20:28

Excellent. So we will get the result around 1st April? Very apt.

ClashCityRocker · 12/12/2018 20:30

How are we eating these croissants? Are we tearing chunks off and dunking them in hot chocolate? I got told off for not eating them like once.

RedToothBrush · 12/12/2018 20:30

Dont know the legitimacy of this but:

Unconfirmed reports that one MP accidentally spoiled their ballot and was too embarrassed to ask for another
The majority of bets are on Grayling

RedToothBrush · 12/12/2018 20:34

Carl Dinnen @carldinnen
They’ve cheered up a bit now.

This is all too exciting.

Seems to me Hazard is not leading a proper Crexit. Of course she was a Pancaker before the vote. We should have had a proper Coissanteer leading the croissant negotiations. In fact, there seem to be a lot of people on this thread talking down croissants. They need to get behind Crexit. If the croissants turn out to be shit it will all be the fault of the people who said all along they didn’t want them.

TokyoSushi · 12/12/2018 20:35

Checking in from my work Christmas dinner, what a night to choose!

BigChocFrenzy · 12/12/2018 20:36

Failing Grayling 😂
Then there are all those who can't decide, so they cross both options
Those who are too drunk to see the ballot sheet ..

BigChocFrenzy · 12/12/2018 20:37

Tokyo ! 😂🍹

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 12/12/2018 20:37

I want croissants with all the health benefits of Greek salad.

I’m supposed to be on a gluten free and dairy free diet.
I’m dreaming of a croissant (or two now).

Bugger.

Butterymuffin · 12/12/2018 20:38

RedToothBrush · 12/12/2018 20:39

Skynews:

European Parliament approves trade deal with Japan
It has been dubbed the world's biggest trade deal, covering economies that represent a third of the world's GDP.
The deal will come into effect in February, a month before the UK leaves the EU.

< really clever move, leaving that >

Some EU leaders see the deal as a possible model for future relations with the UK.
EU trade commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom predicted a deal with the UK would "go even further" than Japan's.

Butterymuffin · 12/12/2018 20:40

Guardian live blog says a 1922 person has said announcement will be made 9pm on the dot.
