Ever closer to Brexit! 🥂 🍻 🍾

Remainers are welcome, as ever.

But!

If you just want to abuse Brexiteers, then start your own thread.

This is a pub thread, not an interrogate-a-Brexiteer thread

We have more in common etc, even if Brexit divides us.

WineBrewCakeThanks

Faith get your frock out of storage Grin

Heyduggeesflipflop · 04/04/2018 20:20

I have 17 million reasons why it is a good idea. You had marginally less by a few million. Let’s call it a close run thing shall we. It could have gone either way - my views are my own as are yours.

I do know if the situation was reversed I would have gotten over it and moved on by now. In your shoes I would look to maximise the eu settlement we reach - anything else at this stage is academic now really. Who knows maybe you are right and we will reconsider one day.

But this is the Brexit arms! Rejoice and grab yourself a pint. Watch out for the bunting.

frumpety · 04/04/2018 20:20

I really miss Prince Sad

frumpety · 04/04/2018 20:22

Bless him and his little built up shoes Wink

GhostofFrankGrimes · 04/04/2018 20:22

You have no answers hey.

bearbehind · 04/04/2018 20:23

hey you're just waffling now.

So we can assume you, like the rest, are simply unable to give any 'sound reasons' because you have none.

Because there are none.

mummmy2017 · 04/04/2018 20:23

I know he could sing. Which was your fav ... Purple Rain

Heyduggeesflipflop · 04/04/2018 20:23

Little red corvette

KennDodd · 04/04/2018 20:25

In your shoes I would look to maximise the eu settlement we reach

How am I going to do that then?

mummmy2017 · 04/04/2018 20:28

Hey it's a trap do not answer..........
About this time each night toys get thrown out of Prams.

CardinalSin · 04/04/2018 20:32

It's sad, but I'm no longer surprised by the level of anti-intellectualism, and, indeed, reverse snobbery in this country.

Apparently, orchestras are entirely elitist (having played in many, I know that is not true), and only unpatriotic elitists go to watch them (ever seen the last night on the Proms?).

But that's about the level of the Quitling narrative, unfortunately...

mummmy2017 · 04/04/2018 20:35

Raspberry beret....

GhostofFrankGrimes · 04/04/2018 20:36

Too many Eu flags at last night of the proms. Can imagine leavers foaming at the mouth complaining about the licence fee whilst watching...

CardinalSin · 04/04/2018 20:38

Whilst simultaneously singing patriotic songs! Just imagine!

GhostofFrankGrimes · 04/04/2018 20:40

They can blow the dust off their Chinese made Union Jack flags for the royal wedding. No elitist, metropolitan types at that...

bearbehind · 04/04/2018 20:41

No toys are being thrown anywhere mummy

hey is in the same league as you. You both pretend your decision was based on something you can't begin to quantify.

Yours is those elusive trade deals, hey can't even begin to quantify her 'sound reasons'

I've said many times before, I have more time for posters like surfer who admit they don't give a shit what happens.

This nonsense about having sound reasons is what really pisses me off and makes leavers look foolish.

frumpety · 04/04/2018 20:47

My personal favourite , but we have to give a nod to

As one of the best love songs ever ......

frumpety · 04/04/2018 20:50

Bear I have a Lego sword imbedded in my foot , does that count with the toys malarkey ?

frumpety · 04/04/2018 20:55

As it that time of the night ......

A close second in the break up song list.

DH has just shouted from the other room , ' Are you on Mumsnet again?'

Heyduggeesflipflop · 04/04/2018 20:59

You know who doesnt get enough airtime these days? Cindi lauper

CardinalSin · 04/04/2018 21:12

Sorry if it's too elitist for the inverse-snobs of Brexit, but is a wonderful bit of British music...

KennDodd · 04/04/2018 21:14

My favourite referendum themed song.

frumpety · 04/04/2018 21:18
