Yay for the blue passports.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

May next year bring us £350 million for the NHS, cake, unicorns, financial passporting, access to the single market, Irish love and of course control to the people.

(Apologies been up to my eyeballs. Normal service will resume after Christmas).

For those people whose passports run out shortly after we are due to leave the EU in March 2019, remember you can apply for a new passport up to 6 months before it expires and the unexpired time will be added to the 10 years. That way, you get to keep your pink burgundy, EU labelled passport for the maximum time possible Xmas Grin

Shameless place mat king Xmas Wink

More Leave voters want to bring back capital punishment than want blue passports.

Tartan has as ancient and diverse roots as the Celts and Paisley is not Scottish in origin either.

Everyone insisted on JC getting a navy suit before they would take him seriously as Labour Leader and TM hasn't worn her fab Vivienne Westwood tartan suit since Nicky Morgan started swiping at her dress sense.

Guessing boring navy is in fact the only "sensible" choice these days. Xmas Sad

Placemarking and Happy Christmas to anyone who won't be around much.

I think the blue ones come in in Oct 2019 (?) - can you imagine how furious any Brexiters will be if they still get an EU one? Grin

woman11017 · 22/12/2017 16:21

Happy holidays, MrsR and red and all Xmas Smile

Brexity handbags hitting the floor cos passport's a French word.
Like Parliament:
Middle English: from Old French parlement ‘speaking’, from the verb parler .

Sovereignty:
late Middle English: from Old French sovereinete, from soverain (see sovereign).

Pesky Normans coming over here with their legal systems and cathedrals.

Happy Christmas Swedish. Xmas Smile

Neither DH nor I bothered what colour our passport is and we're both Brexiters.

Thanks, Red
I hope you are fit again now
If you still have a cold / cough, then heat a pan of chicken soup with 40 cloves garlic - brilliant recipe, no bug or vampire will come near you Wink

Red You’re a bloody legend. I honestly don’t know how you have kept this up for the last 18 months. Have a wonderful Christmas.
I wish you were PM. I have said this before but I would so love to nominate you for some kind of award.
These threads have been a calm oasis in a desert of chaos. I am sure that there are hundreds/thousands of lurkers like me who rarely post but genuinely do gain comfort from the knowledge and wisdom on here and get some solace from the fact that we are not alone in thinking that the country has lost its mind.
