Few threads started by those happy about this. I have decided to no further rain on their parade - they are entitled to their opinions . BUT anyone who feels otherwise ...welcome

So to recap: both major political parties falling apart, lost touch with their constituencies, NO-ONE has a plan, NO ONE seen chancellor or PM since Friday, everyone blames Jeremy Corbyn, pound has fallen, economy has taken a beating, Leave voters beginning to realize that if we want to trade we won't be able to stop movement of people (will stopping people from claiming be enough - if yes- why not have given Cameron's 4 year working before claiming plan a chance ) , we cannot make the people already here disappear therefore no strain off the NHS or school places , just less money to deal with it. Wales and Cornwall and probably other recipients of substantial EU funding want assurances that their funding won't be cut despite voting out. Did I miss anything ? Oh yes, Scotland might want independence . I wonder if the fishing industries were worth this? Because they are the only ones who I believe will truly benefit thus far.

We too still sickened, livid, feeling racism has now been let out of the bag and also looking in to moving either to Scotland, Ireland or Canada. Hubby's job likely to be at risk. I feel physically sick at the gamble we are taking with our future by leaving the EU. I don't feel we can argue the outcome.......but seriously thinking of voting with our feet for the sake of our children. Absolutely gutted. Want to hug every foreigner I see and tell them they're welcome to be here. Crying lots. Want to scream at the top of my lungs from a high mountain to let my frustration out that people can't see that we are placing the entire security of Europe at risk. We are selfish Twats.

Felt so proud of my son today - he's not that active on Facebook, but today posted a full rant against those who had voted leave, especially those who later turned round and regretted it. It was beautifully framed, well spelled, logical and rational. And not a bit of txtspk in it !

Hmm, I cant post a link Blush

Wickedwitchofsouthwest · 26/06/2016 18:32

Have you seen the brexit movie?
Nothing to do with immigration, I didn't watch it until today as I dismissed it as propaganda, but it turned a few hard core stayers into leavers. Try and see the other side

ohdogoaway · 26/06/2016 18:32

Out. Link not working from my phone !

Can anyone help me out and tell me how to post a link?

Akire · 26/06/2016 22:29

Open link on web page. Go to bar cut and paste it in box.

CurbsideProphet · 26/06/2016 22:46

I'm so glad that I found you all. I was tearful Friday morning, now suffering with a continual sense of ominous worry. I'm only 30. Not had children yet. Trying to move jobs but fear now organisations will be tightening belts. Our tenancy is up next month, so very worried that rent will be increased (owners still paying off mortgage). Such uncertain times ahead and no one is coming forward to reassure us. This has put an acceptable face on racism for many people. I hate it. I am ashamed of this country.

Is Boris wanting to backtrack? Does he wish this was all a bad dream?

originalmavis · 26/06/2016 22:52

I have to say I've been looking at people like this 😒 since the vote.

Are they all simmering racists who are just waiting for me to turn my back on them before they stick the boot in? Were they always just pretending to be nice and normal but really muttering under their breath 'fuck off home, you fuckers'?

God, we look like such a shower of uneducated, ignorant, racist tits.

originalmavis · 26/06/2016 22:53

Oh oh and Wales saying 'but can we still have the money please?'. Oh dear God.

CurbsideProphet · 26/06/2016 22:58

Boris is backtracking his arse off.

original I am lucky that my close friends are of the same pursuasion to me. There are acquaintances and work colleagues who I am now seeing in a new light. There is so much talk of winning/losing. We are all losers. The stony silence of Gove etc has made that clear.

GoofyIsACow · 26/06/2016 23:00

I have spent an hour tonight listening to a brexit voter (family member) telling me why it was the right decision. I could fucking scream! she reads the fail

I am ashamed to be british, where are all the politicians who aren't resigning? Jesus, what a fucking mess!

user1466970324 · 26/06/2016 23:02

Reading these posts have made me feel physically sick. This is meant to be a democracy and now everyone who voted out is now a racist? I've never heard so much nonsense in my life and I feel sorry for you all who think that anyone who voted out was directing that vote at YOU personally!

Outnumb3red · 26/06/2016 23:02

I just watched question time and wished I never. That programme always makes me so annoyed.

As a Scottish voter it came across that we are not entitled to our opinion and should follow meekly behind whatever England wants, and NI should do the same too. It seems that the situation that could arise over there wasn't considered at all.

Happily, I don't know anyone who voted leave, which pleases me as I would struggle with them at the moment.

originalmavis · 26/06/2016 23:06

I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow (wasn't there on Friday). In my team of 8, 5 are from abroad (just one Eurozone).

ohdogoaway · 26/06/2016 23:24

User feel free to exercise your democratic right NOT to read these posts- there are a few threads for people happy with the results - you may feel happier there. I actually found a great thread written by a leave voter who expressed clearly why she had voted leave and no - it was not for racist reasons - and I welcomed finding it - as I said earlier - had these voices been heard louder during this process, the end result may have been more palatable for some of us. But hey ho, if you find it physically upsetting to read that some of us DO take it personally please don't let us stop you from jogging on

I've only just found you, but am so glad I did.

Is anyone else still randomly bursting into tears? I feel like I'm grieving atm.

I can barely look my mother in the face as I know she voted Out. She has a Polish lady who supports her hugely 5 days and nights a week. I saw this lady yesterday, and she looks absolutely heartbroken. I can barely bring myself to ask why my mother voted the way she did. It's madness.

Meanwhile, where the HECK are all the politicians that matter? The silence from Parliament has been deafening.

SugarPlumTree · 27/06/2016 06:42

We had a not very easy weekend as my Dad and partner came down and DH struggled to be with them whilst it was all so raw. He is usually vety chilled and amenable. I didn't find it easy either as was trying to keep DD calm over Skype as she has just moved to Europe . She'd got a mouthful from a Dutch friend about it all.

Dad and partner were quite shocked as when they turned up at the B and B, the owner who they have known for years was in such a state that they thought her Mum had died. They then realised it was about the result.

I think they were quite shaken at her strengt of feeing. I did apologise for the mood in the house , they said they totally understood and we were very mild in comparison.

So far this month my Mum died and my DD left home. I dealt with that but this has really thrown me watching the complete disarray the country has descended into. I think I could accept it more if Farage hadn't turned round the next day and said about the 350 million pound lie, if there wasn't a surge in racism, if there wasn't publicity on those who regret their vote and Boris looked more like a man with a fucking plan.

Salktie009 · 27/06/2016 06:45

Sign the Petition on 2nd EU referendum. Boris wanted to to PM, he did not think he would win. Let's stop this utter madness.

DorynownotFloundering · 27/06/2016 07:23

I am struggling to speak to the few of my friends who are leavers & very happy. Absolutely their democratic right to vote as they choose but although my head accepts this, my heart cannot and its saddened me beyond measure for all of us.

I have culled my FB page which wasn't large anyway as I need to be able to comment & discuss without being made to feel uncomfortable.

This is going to take some while to get over 😥

lovelyupnorth · 27/06/2016 07:31

Was interested to read that a number of bidders bidding to "save our steal" have or are pulling out. Another brexit fuck up

Got a weekend with my mil next weekend she voted out, really don't want to go as don't want to ruin our relationship. She's already insulted her 15 y/o GD for wanting to remain. Was supposed to be a celebration. All those going bar mil voted remain.

ohdogoaway · 27/06/2016 07:35

Am curious about many people saying we should get in with it bc it's a democratic process (maybe they are right I don't know). If this is the case why did we even need this referendum - people will say this is not what we signed up for, but surely the governments we the people elected, were the ones who were complicit in that. Furthermore what about our MEPS. It seems we have a number of UKIP MEPS who went to Brussels , were paid the "inflated salaries" and spent years doing fuck all but being divisive . I think it's shameful that we sent our ELECTED representatives there and instead of working their arses off they pissed around insulting those who believed in EUrope. That sickens me. Who knows maybe in another twenty years the people will be able to lobby to join again and I will hope the same people who say we should accept this result will have the decency to accept that things change with time and if there is sufficient will for it and the conditions are good, that those people deserve to have their day - just like the eurosceptics of today
