thanks RedToothBrush, that's not reassuring but it's interesting

flippinada · 23/06/2016 11:43

On the Guardian's live coverage, it says that Remain now has a 4 point lead
(telephone poll, IPSOS Mori)

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 23/06/2016 11:43

I'm going for 70% remain

OrangesandLemonsNow · 23/06/2016 11:45

On the Guardian's live coverage, it says that Remain now has a 4 point lead
(telephone poll, IPSOS Mori)

Just to note it's a phone polls all of which have had remain in the lead. All online polls have had leave in the lead.

flippinada · 23/06/2016 11:49

That's absolutely correct Orange. Online polls have consistently shown a lead for remain. I wonder why the discrepancy?

Frustratingly, no change on what eu thinks - not yet, anyway.

flippinada · 23/06/2016 11:51

They have just tweeted though:

"This am's @IpsosMORI #euref poll moves our Poll of Polls back to Remain 51 (+1), Leave 49 (-1), 3/6 phone"

flippinada · 23/06/2016 12:02

Another tweet from What UK thinks:

"Populus Final Pre-Ref Poll (4700, Online) 55% REMAIN: 45% LEAVE. Fieldwork 21-06-16 to midnight 22-06-16"

squoosh · 23/06/2016 12:04

I've voted and feel a wave of calm over me now.

squoosh · 23/06/2016 12:05

Oh and I like those numbers flippinada.

We Heart John!

eatyouwithaspoon · 23/06/2016 12:11

I think leave by a small margin unfortunately.

OrangesandLemonsNow · 23/06/2016 12:11

sqoosh Don't forget that phone votes always come out for Remain and online ones leave.

The IPSOS Mori which is actually the last official poll and came out this morning was a phone poll.

squoosh · 23/06/2016 12:11

I know that, but I still like it.

flippinada · 23/06/2016 12:13

I hope you made sure to take your your own sharpie squoosh.

Speaking of which, I'm off out to cast my own vote.

I was all devil may care and just used to pencil provided flip. It's probably being erased as we speak Grin

flippinada · 23/06/2016 12:16

The Populus poll referred to above is an online one and that's now showing a significant lead for Remain. How accurate that is I don't know.

For anyone on twitter (or even if you aren't) this is interesting:

Yes, I bet the illuminati are already getting busy with their big bag of erasers.

whatamidoinghereanyway · 23/06/2016 12:17

Ever single person I have asked in RL has said they're voting LEAVE.for various reasons.

On the one hand it concerns me and on the other hand I still don't know how I will vote!

whatamidoinghereanyway · 23/06/2016 12:19

I genuinely think that we need to be prepared that we could be leaving!

squoosh · 23/06/2016 12:20

The bookies have slashed their odds right down today so seem even more confident of Remain winning. But yes it's basically down to the money placed. I believe there are more small bets on Leave but all the ££££££ has gone on Remain.

OrangesandLemonsNow · 23/06/2016 12:21

I thought Bookies' odds were determined as much by the amount of money being bet as by their prediction of the outcome? ANy bookies around to clarify?!

There has been a lot of big money pit on remain but a higher number of bets put on leave just smaller amounts from what I can gather

Mycraneisfixed · 23/06/2016 12:22

Like most other posters I think it'll be a close result in favour of Remain. Unfortunately.

Vrijeme · 23/06/2016 12:26

Remain.

but if you want a bigger survey, then a polling firm asked this question of 6500 people and 61% said Remain
