Right, new thread ready to make cash for Christmas!
Good luck Ebayers.

OP posts:
mogs0 · 07/12/2009 14:10

Snow - It took me ages to do mine last night because I kept making mistakes. I'm going to push myself really hard to get a few more on tonight and that'll be it for me. I can't cope with the packing and queuing at the PO. I've run out of recycled jiffy and plastic bags now so will have to try and find an alternative for the stuff ending tonight!!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 07/12/2009 14:20

Mogs - I guess you have kids k'nex. Big chunky pieces. DS1 used to make lots of things with this K'nex.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 07/12/2009 19:35

Buyer of kids jeans has now decided not to go ahead (see post from a few days ago, buyer in Ireland paid wrong postage) so we have mutally agreed to cancel. Have no done a 2nd chance offer and if the buy i would only have lost out on 20p

mygirllollipop · 07/12/2009 19:52

Going to try to link my auctions

monkeyfacegrace · 07/12/2009 20:07

ooooh mogs I want your zebra torch and Radley purse!

mogs0 · 07/12/2009 20:51

monkey - I was hoping to for about £30 for the purse but am open to offers if you really want it! I have another torch and would happily combine.

ElizabethWakefield · 08/12/2009 20:03

I have just finished listing my last few items that i am doing before Xmas. The last lot will finish on Sunday, so hopefully should be ok for Christmas post etc.

Here are my 43 items

Fingers crossed at least some sell. Good luck everyone

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 08/12/2009 20:13

EW Good luck with the listing.
BTW Trousers fit perfectly Have to wear tights under them this time of year though lol.

mogs0 · 08/12/2009 21:16

EW - your clothes are beautiful!! It almost makes me broody for a pair of tiny newborns!!! Almost!!

ElizabethWakefield · 08/12/2009 21:28

Glad the trousers were ok for you Tort! Although I agree that it is freezing!

Mogs, all the baby clothes are from my best friend's triplets, but tonight I was feeling all sad as I listed them, some things are so tiny It's their first birthday on Friday, it has gone so quickly!!

mogs0 · 08/12/2009 21:36

Ahh, triplets!! I have lots of friends who pg but I don't the sex of any of them yet.

I have watchers on all of my things except the flippin ski jacket that has been on about 4 times now, I think. If it doesn't sell this time, I'll try it once more after Christmas then charity shop it. I really don't want to because it cost over £100 but it's wasted sitting in my wardrobe.

I was going to list a few more items this week but I'm having such a crap couple of days I don't think I can be bothered with it at the moment. I've run out of packaging too which is making it hard as I still have 4 items that need to be sent out tomorrow. I'm going to go and hunt for more brown paper and tape..................I'm sure I've got more somewhere!!

mogs0 · 08/12/2009 21:40

Am watching a couple of your items now EW!!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 08/12/2009 21:47

Surpised ski jacket hasn't sold.

I get parcel bags off Ebay from this seller Very good and fast free postage.

mogs0 · 08/12/2009 21:56

Yeah, me too. Maybe after Christmas people will start booking their ski hols and it'll go!

Thanks for the link I'll have a look. The last lot I had were bought in 2004 !! I've moved twice since then! I think there were quite a lot in the pack though!!!

ILoveChocolateKnickers · 09/12/2009 14:56

I am selling my beloved Silver Cross Linear, if anyone is interested

ElizabethWakefield · 09/12/2009 15:29

We have the shop and i think it would be a nightmare with a toddler. Bad enough with my 4 and they are all over 5! I would get DS a little something out of the money though.

mel1981 · 09/12/2009 21:33

Hi all, your all doing so well.... my stuff hasnt really been selling too well so I guess I lost interest a bit but now really need to ull my finger out (my ebay pile is getting bigger& bigger!) tomorrow will do some listings if all goes to plan.
I get my parcel/plastic bags off ebay too. Another idea for packaging is if your a member of your local freecycle ask for stuff on there- you'll probably only get jiffy bags and/or bubble wrap but its better than nothing and saves you some money too. Always worth a try.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 10/12/2009 13:24

Mel My latest listing aren't doing well at all! Only 2 have a bid and only one or 2 have a watcher.

mel1981 · 10/12/2009 13:35

hopefully it will pick up for ou tortoise- you usually do well.
Ive got loads of baby clothes listed and to put on but they really dont seem to be selling well at the moment. Im wondering whether to bundle them up as it might be P&P putting them off? (I only add an extra 30pish on postage charge so its not my overcharging). Everything just goes for minimum amounts.
Have some toys to list so maybe i'll have better luck wit them- although should of probably listed them a bit sooner

Saltire · 10/12/2009 13:46

Can i ask some opinions. I ahve a designers at Debenahms dress, worn once. it's black with green silk embroidery on the front (sounds gross I know but it's lovely). It is what I would call a cocktail dress.
It cost £125 new, and I won't be wearing it again and was going to put it on ebay but not sure how much for

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 10/12/2009 14:05

Mel I think i would bundle up baby clothes. I don't think they generally do that well. But I haven't had any to sell lately. Toys are more likely to sell this time of year. Better get them on quick though lol!

Satire I have no idea. What is the least you would want to sell it for?

mygirllollipop · 10/12/2009 14:06

Made £27-FVF so far, not much interest on the items that still have time left.
Mobiles are on another account and will get £30 for the pair so far with a few days left.

Don't want to list anymore before xmas as doubt they'd arrive in time.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 10/12/2009 18:07

I have 2 items to list later. A 18-24m snowsuit and a little santa suit 6-9m. Fingers crossed for bids! Think that will be the last bits before Christmas.
