Good luck Ebayers.

mogs, what's going on with the crane? I got an email telling me I had been outbid, I've just checked ebay and it says I am the winning bid at the moment? If I am, great, but I am a bit confused!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 04/12/2009 21:12

I thought about that but they only paid £1.99 plus postage so what would part refund be?

mogs0 · 04/12/2009 21:49

Beth - I noticed that! The other bidder must have withdrawn their bid. I thought I'd have been notified but obv not!!

mogs0 · 04/12/2009 21:51

How much was postage? If you have to add on the extra 70p for recorded then it might be cheaper just to let them keep them and give a refund. Maybe you could offer 50% refund?

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 04/12/2009 22:42

Mogs They paid £2.99 postage, cost me £2.65. They have now opened a paypal dispute!!! I guess they didn't believe me when i said they had to return item 1st!! Grrrr!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 05/12/2009 22:06

Couple of items sold tonight, rest relisted plus added a couple of new items.

SNOWBall4girlz · 06/12/2009 00:20

trying to listbut there are so many distractions

update tomorrow got a few chunky bits to list and stuff I dont want to go for 99 p

two gymboree silver satin classy dresses age 3 and 4 still with tags at£35 am I bein too optomistic wanting £10 gotta try lol
night

mygirllollipop · 06/12/2009 10:00

This seem to be really going for me this time listing. Must be time of year as I'm sure my stuff doesn't usually get this much attention!

There's only 5 things with bids, a fair few watchers. Got about 4 more things to put on today while it's free listing as start price is more than 99p. One is DH's commuter bike as he;s got new job now and too far to cycle. Hoping that will go for £120!

mygirllollipop · 06/12/2009 11:30

Would any of you post to Russia. Never had so many questions for shipping abroad. Am quite happy to ship abroad usually and haven't changed setting to stop bidders abroad.
just got this message and think it sounds a bit dodgy:
Hi! I would gladly take part in this auction. Do you mind shipping the shirts to Russia by "Airmail Small Packets"? If you don't, write please how much P&P will cost me.
I completely take the risk of postal loss. If my bid is more than £20 I add £3.70 extra on top of quoted P&P for "International Signed For" service.
"Airmail Small Packets" price list can be seen at RoyalMail or PostOffice web pages.
www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?mediaId=53800712&catId=400036

Would you please check your "Buyer Requirements" settings? If the "Buyers in countries to which I don't ship" option is chosen, add my User ID to your "Buyer Requirements Exemption List" please.
pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/buyer-requirements.html - this is the eBay Help page where you can find all the information if needed.

Kind regards (name).
P.S. I'm a serious bidder. I use PayPal to complete payment. I usually pay right after I win. If I am the winner I will not waste your time.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 13:33

Have you had a look at their Feedback? I think i would risk it and hope they were outbid lol! You are covered by Ebay if they don't pay etc.

mygirllollipop · 06/12/2009 15:29

Yes, they have 100% for just over 100 transactions. Some English feedback left too so think it might be OK (I hope). I have another 6 listings lined up for this evening taking my items for sale to 30.
Am spending before I've sold too but it's all xmas stuff for kids which is what the money was for in first place, so can't be too bad.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 15:39

Sounds like it would be ok then.

mogs0 · 06/12/2009 21:41

Here are my latest listings. I had my Christmas party last night and am suffering a little today so it's a rather poor effort on my part but most of the things I have left to list can start at 99p so no rush to list them tonight. I might just go and do one or two more before I fall asleep on the keyboard!

Some of my items ended last night and most sold for a good price!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 21:43

my items.
Have one bid so far!

mogs0 · 06/12/2009 21:46

Tort - any progress with the jeans dispute?

Snowball - I have the same problem with distractions!! However, the clutter in my house is making me so miserable that I have to fight passed the distractions!! I think £10 for a £35 dress is perfectly acceptable!!

mygirl - glad your listings are doing well. I agree about the time of year. I'm finding toys are selling particularly well for me at the moment.

mogs0 · 06/12/2009 21:49

Tort - do you have 2 fleeces for sale because there are 2 listings!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 22:03

Oh Bum! No only one fleece. Has less than 24 hrs though so should i leave it? If it sells i cn remove the other listing. If not it is still listed. Oh i don't know what to do now lol!

Jeans dispute escalated to claim. I agreed to refund once item returned. (Which it what i told them in the first place!!) Plus it says i don't have to pay return costs. I would have paid that had they not taken it to a claim lol! There loss not mine! Pretty annoyed they wouldn't believe me TBH.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 22:06

Just remembered i was meant to sort out the 3 big tubs of K'nex to list. Don't want to start it at 99p so free listing weekend would have been perfect.

mogs0 · 06/12/2009 22:47

A couple more before I give up and go to bed!!!

I'd leave the fleece then and remove the 2nd one if the 1st sells.

Don't be annoyed with Jeans buyer, you won't be out of pocket now (apart from original p&p costs I suppose) they should have believed you. Still a pita though!!

I had ds' K'nex set ready to list a couple of weeks ago but when I looked at completed listings they were selling for very little. Ds saw it out and wanted to play with it and hasn't left it alone since so I'm letting him keep it . I'm such a nice mummy!!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 22:54

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Thought, 'sod it' i will sort out the k'nex and list it. Bloody scales won't work even with new batteries. Will have to list as pick up only for now i guess! Will put postage avaliable.

mogs0 · 06/12/2009 22:56

Are you putting it all on one listing or lots of smaller ones? I'm sure collection only would be fine until you get them weighed.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 23:00

2 Listings of K'nex then one for pile of instruction books i think. Have put will post in brackets in the title.
Hopefully will be ok!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 06/12/2009 23:09

All done. Hope they are ok. Could someone have a look for me in a bit/tomorrow to see if all looks ok? Thanks.

SNOWBall4girlz · 06/12/2009 23:49

hi tortoise i have listed some sutff but need to add pics my camera is charging as i type

got some to put on tomorrow that i will do on turbo lister tonight

pnicking a bit its a bit close now xmas

mogs0 · 07/12/2009 14:01

Tort - K'nex listings look fine. I didn't realise there was bigger stuff. Ds must have the baby k'nex and it was that that he didn't want me to get rid of! I almost wish I hadn't looked at your listings now because I'm tempted to buy him the more grown-up version!!
