Right, new thread ready to make cash for Christmas!
Good luck Ebayers.

OP posts:
NickNemo · 01/12/2009 19:54

Mogs, yes they did. £16 for the cot, mattress, protector and sheets. Not bad

Hope they like it though, because I am not taking it back.

mogs0 · 01/12/2009 21:25

Woohoo, just sold 2 items on BIN! Only 20 more to go! Good job I listed double my target last night because I haven't done any tonight. I'm waiting in for a parcel tomorrow so will make good use of my time and get listing!!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 01/12/2009 21:58

Well done mogs.
Was just coming to post to say one of mine ended on BIN too.

(Scuse name, joining support on another thread)

mogs0 · 01/12/2009 22:01

(ha, ha @ name!! Haven't seen other thread though!)

Well done to you too!

mogs0 · 02/12/2009 09:28

Yay, more bids this morning!!

I'm going to post office to send yesterdays BINs then got to spend the rest of the morning cleaning the lounge and kitchen before I get Turbo Listing!!

NickNemo · 02/12/2009 11:41

Aw, well done Mogs. Loving your name Tortoise

Feeling rather pleased with myself, I managed to sell three books on Amazon within a day of listing them. That's another £10, yay!

mogs0 · 02/12/2009 11:58

That's good. What type of books? I've seen from here that lots of people are selling books that way. I might have a search for some of the ones I've got here to see what I might get for them. I was going to charity shop them otherwise.

NickNemo · 02/12/2009 13:18

Mogs, one of them was a Annabel Karmel cookbook, the other a Paddington one. The other was an obscure academic one!

From what I've seen novels and books like that go very easily. Its still worth selling as you can make a small saving on postage as well. Key is to keep your prices the lowest.

TBH, I just wanted to get rid of the books so I undercut everyone else by about £2.00, but its up to you how much you want to price them for. I like the fact that there's no faffing about, and Amazon tells you upfront before listing how much you will get as a final amount.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 02/12/2009 23:00

I love reading feedback comments i get.
This one in particular made me laugh!

'fast delivery , very happy , really cute , recommend seller'.

Now what was the item this feedback was for??

It was for PS2 game true crime streets of LA!

Buyer had copied feedback left for one of my other sold items! Guess they didn't read it properly lol!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 03/12/2009 10:12

FREE listing this weekend .

mogs0 · 03/12/2009 14:22

Again already?

I'm having my Christmas party on Saturday and have about a million friends staying over so will have very little time for listing as I'll be getting the house ready. Right, I'm banning myself from MN in the hope that I can get stuff done!!

BTW I have quite a few bids and lots of watchers so hoping that everything sells well!!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 03/12/2009 17:04

Put loads on Turbo lister tonight then quickly upload in one go on Sat/sun night.

I don't think i have much left to list. And almost no interest in the bits i have listed.

mogs0 · 03/12/2009 21:57

Just finished work and have so much crap to tidy in my house there's not a chance I'll be listing tonight. Actually, I think most of the things I have to put on I'd be happy to get 99p for or I'm confident that things I'd want a bit more for will get bids above 99p so might not rush to get things listed for the weekend.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 03/12/2009 22:07

Sometimes starting at 99p works out better anyway.

I keep getting outbid tonight! Trying to get DD2 a nice warm winter coat as the zip on hers is breaking.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 03/12/2009 22:45

I have a problem buyer! They bid on a pair of kids jeans. They are in Ireland. Didn't contact before bidding for shipping cost. Then paid for the item before i sent invoice and they put 50p in the postage bit! SO now i am £3 down on postage cost. They don't understand why there was no shipping cost or why they need to pay £3 more!!!

They only have 2 feedbacks and that was from ages ago! Have replied explaining why i need the extra but not sure they are english so may not understand. What a pain!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 03/12/2009 23:11

Right, think sorted now! They want to go ahead with it. I guess i just give them may paypal email to pay it to. If they know how!

mygirllollipop · 04/12/2009 15:34

Hope all you guys are doing well.
You have convinced me to finally get round to listing 10 items on eBay, hopefully adding 10 more every couple of days.
Already I have 3 watchers/2 bids on one item and 8 watchers and a bit on another. Not much interest in the other items but they're got 5 days odd left to run.
Tell me to get listing more!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 04/12/2009 19:05

Well done mygirl .
Free listing this weekend so maybe hold off listing more until tomorrow if you want to start anything at more than 99p. Do you use turbo lister? You could list things ready to upload tomorrow

mygirllollipop · 04/12/2009 19:51

I have 14 things on TurboLister to upload tonight (99p starts) and 3 more for the weekend (£1+ starts).
I also have a couple of mobiles to list but doing that on a different account that is set to not accept bids from outside UK. Not sure whether so start them at 99p tonight and hope or start at weekend for more?

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 04/12/2009 20:29

Well done. That is great.
Mobiles i guess is upto you. It is a risk to start at 99p but may be fine. Look at completed listings to see what the phone normally sell for.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 04/12/2009 20:38

A buyer has contacted saying item not as described. They are saying they should get a refund before returning.

Refunds are given after returning aren't they?

I am pretty sure i am right but thought i would ask on here.

mogs0 · 04/12/2009 20:46

I would definitely get the item back before refunding.

NickNemo · 04/12/2009 20:57

Definitely wait till they return before refunding. Also, they have to return recorded.

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 04/12/2009 20:59

Thanks mogs. That's what i thought. Going to lose out paying return postage but it does seem to be my fault. I listed jeans as BNWOT and they say they have been cut and hand sewed. They were out of the bundle i bought. Listed as NWOT and i didn't check the hems! with myself because i am out of pocket.

mogs0 · 04/12/2009 21:02

Could you offer a partial refund and they keep them? It'll save you having to pay all the p&p and relisting them.
