Idris - I'm not watching your tights but I am watching the PM advent!!

Tortoise · 10/11/2009 17:27

Unfortunalty tights are too small for my DD's but hope lots of the watchers bid.

Anyone selling any Ello? DD's got a small set in charity shop today and have been making bits with it. Am watching some sets on Ebay.

What is Ello? (shows I'm not selling any!)

have a bid on a coat which was relisted for the 2nd time - it really is a lovely coat so I am glad someone will get it

Tortoise · 10/11/2009 20:50

Idris Ello is a construction type toy. Girlie pieces to slot together. Sort of like lego for girls! Although it isn't bricks like lego lol!

Only 2 watchers on this (shameless plug). It's so lovely and soft. I've had to hide it from ds because he doesn't want to get rid of it but he has the next size up so doesn't need 2!!! I'd love one for myself but they're £50 ! Maybe if I sell everything by mid-december I'll treat myself (or maybe there'll be a discount code soon!!).

I've got a few more watchers but no more bids.......must get some more listed instead of constantly refreshing!!

Tortoise · 11/11/2009 13:27

Mogs I gave up trying to sell dressing gowns couldn't even give them away on the Free thread!! Gave some to a friend and some to TrinityRhino.

I need to list items too. Have to go in the loft and get the christmassy items out! But it is cold in the loft!

OP posts:
mogs0 · 11/11/2009 13:42

Oh, that's a shame, I thought it'd be popular because of the make. My aunt bought it long before I'd even heard of the company - it's sooooo lovely!!! Maybe I'll remove it and keep it for my friend's ds (who is 2 years too small for it yet!!).

Get yourself up the loft - moving boxes etc will warm you up! - says I, who's sitting here with gloves on!

mogs0 · 11/11/2009 14:31

Just got a bid on it - is my bidder a MNer? Oh well, I hope it's going to good home!!

janx · 11/11/2009 15:28

Is anyone having problems with new listings? Tried to put something on last night and it kept coming up with an error messge...is that because I am a newbie

mogs0 · 11/11/2009 19:40

I'm not sure Janx, I haven't listed anything since last week.

I now have a 2nd bid on the dressing gown!! Both MNers or just a coincidence?

janx · 11/11/2009 19:47

oooh I have done it....

Tortoise · 11/11/2009 21:26

That's great mogs.

I have taken photos of santa dresses. Will hopefully list tomorrow night.

Leapster TV sold on BIN and paid for straight away unlike last time when buyer didn't pay!

Two lots of tights sold. And some things on their third visit!

Got sone bids on a grobag, one of the advent calendars and a peg doll kit (which doesn't end until Sunday but is up to £5.51 )

roosterroo · 12/11/2009 11:49

Love your dressing gown Mogs, would have been tempted but MIL has just bought the soft Buzz one from M&S

Have listed a couple just "now shop.ebay.co.uk/lrud3454/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340"

Have photos at the ready of those xmas toddler tops,
Need to stop looking as I have bought those playmobil camels and wise men this morning - are they for me or the boys!!

mogs0 · 12/11/2009 12:46

roosterroo - that's a shame - it really is gorgeous!! - It now has 3 watchers so might get another couple of bids before it ends. Well done on getting a bid already! I hope your items sell well.

I have been quite good at not buying more things though I do have my eye on some PM too and would really like somewhere nice to store shoes etc to put by the front door - I feel I deserve it after reducing my buggy obsession collection to just 1 buggy.

Actually, I've just remembered I have a blanket box that I could use to put shoes in and doubles as a seat to sit on while putting shoes on! Problem solved!

roosterroo · 12/11/2009 13:19

Pj's already have a bid, wasn't going to bother listing them!

Have 4 toddler tops all with chrismas theme to add to my list. I now realise I've bought 2 new ones for this year for Ds2, must be a weakness for anything festive

mogs0 · 12/11/2009 13:33

My weakness is Christmas jumpers for ds!! They have to be a little bit more subtle now that he's 7 . My favourite was a lovely green one with a snowman on the front!!!

roosterroo · 12/11/2009 13:54

Ds2 is only 3 so im enjoying him wearing the Christmassy stuff, as Ds1 is 10 and I would be lucky to persuade him to wear anything that wasnt cricket/football or top gear related !!

but give him 5 mins and he will want to play with those playmobil camels

janx · 12/11/2009 14:23

Oh I like those pjs...hang on I need to sell things first

mogs0 · 12/11/2009 15:46

Yay, booster seat has bids up to £10 now and 38 watchers!!!

janx · 12/11/2009 19:23

How do you know how many watchers you have?

mogs0 · 12/11/2009 19:32

It tells you on your selling page inbetween the item title and number of bids.

Tortoise · 12/11/2009 20:44

I have had an email from buyer saying the item has stains on it. I 100% checked very carefully because it was white crop jeans and i saw no stains. Even checked again before packing them up.
Buyer won't even consider giving them a quick wash. They are returning them for refund. No mention of who is paying return postage though! Stupid thing is the got the item for 99p plus £2ish postage. Is it worth returning!

Hopefully list tomorrow. DD2 has been poorly today so no time to look in the loft.

OP posts:
mogs0 · 12/11/2009 21:56

Fgs, for the sake of a 99p item I'd just stick it in the charity shop bag (your buyer I mean, not you)! I've just won a skirt for nearly £20 with P&P. It arrived this morning and is a totally different colour in RL to the photo and has a faint faggy smell but I do like it and will keep it but not sure whether to email seller to tell her or just keep my mouth closed and not leave fb. Your buyer is being unreasonable!!!

Tortoise · 12/11/2009 22:08

Thanks Mogs. That makes me feel better .
I would email your seller and see if they will agree to part refund for it not being as described. Always worth a try for a more expensive item.
