Aims That is good Hope the bids are rolling in.

I am feeling it is a good time for Ebaying! Things seem to be selling pretty well overall. The cat outfit i sold last night actually went for £2.50 MORE than the cost in Tesco right now!

Have some bits ending tonight and a few bits to list.

Well having a mixed time on Ebay, some good bids on a couple of items, a lot of watchers on a couple of others and nothing on the rest. Oh well will be interesting to see how it all shakes out...can always relist.

Added a few more items too so my current list is here.

Bellared · 02/10/2009 21:39

No Way, Bakewell, I'm watching your snow suit!!!

I've just sold 11 items 5 of which to the same sender which is great cos it means less packing!

Wilkinson's sell 5 large postal bags for about 80p or so.

Lilyloooohhhh · 02/10/2009 21:45

Oh well xmas seems to be looming again Tort so may have to rejoin this thread!
Good to see Aimsmum comment on it picking up again
Have bnib lego , football boots and snowsuits to list. Have yet to do good toy clear out!
Xmas fund here i come......

IdrisTheDragon · 02/10/2009 22:03

Buyer has still not paid .

I sold it on Monday - can I start the non-paying thing on Monday (I am assuming they will have some excellent reason for not paying yet but it is still annoying).

Tortoise · 02/10/2009 22:24

listed a few more items.
Think i have a couple to re-list probably tomorrow.
Listed the duplo bundle too.

Lily What lego do you have? DS1 loves lego.

BakewellTarts · 03/10/2009 09:03

Bellared you have excellent taste ...I'm not doping too badly with snowsuits which is great as they take up lots of room.

Tortoise lets hope you find a better buyer for that Duplo.

IdrisTheDragon I think even with BIN the buyer has 7 days to pay (unless you run an Ebay shop) so they may still pay you...

cyteen · 03/10/2009 16:35

I'm back! Made a grand total of £10.19 from my previous listings but it's all helping to declutter so I'm not complaining. Have listed a few bits of clothing and will try and get some more on tonight/tomorrow, once the rampaging toddler is in bed.

IdrisTheDragon · 03/10/2009 16:42

No payment yet....but will hang on until Monday

Am hoping tomorrow's ipod shuffle goes for more than its current 99p (although it does have 14 watchers).

DS also loves lego....but am trying to remind myslef I am doing selling not buying at the moment

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 03/10/2009 21:03

ipod shuffles do seem to get bids. DS2 has been looking for one to buy. Can you link to yours so i can watch it?

IdrisTheDragon · 04/10/2009 07:52

Here it is

It's up to £1.70 now

Ooh it's up to £5.72

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 04/10/2009 14:34

Am watching it not sure what my limit is yet though lol!

Think i will list some bits now. Not done daytime endings before but i really need to clear this HUGE pile of stuff!

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 04/10/2009 17:12

Well, i think it is out of my price range now lol!

Got a couple of bits listed, nothing that i expect to go well, if at all!

Few more bits to list later.

IdrisTheDragon · 04/10/2009 17:16

Am hoping it will go a bit higher

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 04/10/2009 18:09

Good luck

IdrisTheDragon · 04/10/2009 20:25

Yay - it went for £24 and I got it for £20 as I used an amazon voucher to partly fund it. And the winning bidder has paid already .

Will send it out tomorrow.

Nothing from non payer bidder from last Monday .

poshsinglemum · 04/10/2009 20:28

Hi all. can I join in as have suddenly got the bug?

I'm selling some hand-made charm bracelets that I made, baby clothes bundles, a bnib steamer, some bnwt little girls' tiara, a denim skirt and some boots.

Can anyone tell me what tends to sell well or is it completely arbitary?

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 04/10/2009 20:36

That's great Idris.
I am very very happy!! Duplo sold for £25 BIN! That is more than i got last time from non-payer! I really didn't think it would sell on BIN because i also started bids at £18.

Have listed more items take a looky here!

Posh I think it varies as to what sells. Anything is worth trying once or twice i think! Good luck.

glucose · 04/10/2009 20:45

are any sellers having post stike problems?
I sent a few parcels last week, and have lots of unhappy winning bidders

ATortoiseisBetterThanABlackCat · 04/10/2009 20:58

glucose So far i haven't had any problems with sent items. Had a bought item go missing though and so has my brother.
