Guess it will be too late to offer a 2nd chance offer now. But i am sure it will do well again especially as it is getting closer to Christmas.

Tortoise- i just woulnt leave her any feedback or as it has to be positive i'd still be honest and say they didnt pay but not sure if thats allowed.

mel1981 · 22/09/2009 21:19

also wouldnt hurt to ask if they want 2nd chance saves relisting and the wait for it to run out.
thanks bakwell- its a shame to get rid of it but like you say the space helps.

Tortoise · 22/09/2009 22:11

Mel The other 2 sellers left + feedback but stated non payment. I did think that wasn't allowed but will try. How many un paid srikes does it take to get banned?

Have to wait until the 29th before anything gets done anyway but i expect i will see if i can contact the other bidder/s and see if they are still interested.

is it 3 strikes? I might be wrong though. but only if they are all reported I guess. some people dont report them because they cant relist while a complaint/non payment being dealt with incase buyer does pay up. Or they cant be bothered with the hassel.
Good luck though.

I made £13.74 yesterday but the boys bundle didn't sell so I'm going to split it tomorrow night and add more bits.

Fingers crossed for you all!!

BakewellTarts · 24/09/2009 20:54

Mrsjammi I'm loving getting rid of stuff too. Put 5 empty boxes back in the garage after my sale last week and I feel great...however l still have 1 box of things I'm not sure I want to get rid of...

Well done Tortoise and Bellared.

I'm almost ready for a listing session. I guess for tomorrow night now...

Tortoise · 24/09/2009 21:13

Few more items listed including halloween bits.

I enjoy getting rid of stuff too. Unfortunatly i keep buying things from charity shops to sell lol!

Tortoise fantastic news...must get that pumpkin babygro listed...

Bellared · 25/09/2009 19:38

Tortoise, I've thought of doing that too! I saw a few new looking Burberry handbags in one of my local Charity Shops the other week and then I checked how much they were going for on Ebay. Gutted I didn't get them now!

Tortoise · 25/09/2009 20:01

Special clear out day in charity shop today ready for winter stock to be put out. 4 items for £1! I got 8 items £2 . Hopefully they will make more than that. I love my local charity shop.
Will probably list tonight. Have a sportacus outfit i have been meaning to list for weeks.

Sweeeeeet. I've had to re-do mine, I split the bundle but had to take all the pics AGAIN cos I deleted them out the recycle bin. Feck. They've not appeared yet cos of the Auctiva spinny thing at the bottom.

wilbur · 26/09/2009 10:37

Sorry - more help needed. Am tryint to do a Buy It Now auction so that a woman can buy a pair of jeans that I listed that didn't sell and she missed the end of the auction. Originally there was no Buy It Now price, and I tried relisting it with a BIN price but even though the preview seemed to show a Buy It Now option, the actual ad did not. So I ended that auction and am now trying to start from scratch and I still don't seem to be able to do it. What am I doing wrong? I fill in both starting price for the auction and the Buy It Now price, but when I scroll down, the insertion fees are only showing the auction and not Buy It Now. I am getting really frustrated and cross - can anyone help?

6-9m boys stuff now not in bundle

Wilbur - Have you tried the 'fixed price' tab instead of the 'online auction' tab? I think that is how you do it.

wilbur · 28/09/2009 15:50

Bellared - I sorted it out eventually - not sure why I was having such problems, think my Pc was on a go slow!

Made about £60 so far, minus about £15 in post and fees, so not too bad. Was really surprised my Betty Jackson sweater didn't go, totally unworn and so nice (but too small for me ). I guess she is not really as well known a designer as some. Don't really know if it's worth relisting.

Tortoise · 28/09/2009 18:10

wilbur Always worth relisting. I have had things sell really well on there 2nd or 3rd relist!

DOing ok so far. 4 items have bids. 3 days left.
