I'm in, I always wanted to join one of these, so far I have two items with bids on, giving me a total of £1.98 woo-hoo.

Tortoise · 31/08/2009 18:31

My items so far.

Will be listing some more later.

bluebump · 31/08/2009 18:38

Everything I keep selling (clothes) just goes for £1.99 which is what I start my listings at!

Will ebay get a bit busier now it's nearly September?

Tryharder · 31/08/2009 19:44

OK, I'm in, loads of stuff to sell (clothes mainly), some children's stuff.

overthemill · 31/08/2009 19:57

ooh can i can join in as i have been listing all month post holidays and losing my job at the same time! So far I have made £370 (amazingly) mainly on some camera equipment but this week i have listed about 26 of my dd's old cuddly toys. Really surprised at what sold and what didn't!

When the auction is up (today) i will relist once what didn't sell, list everything lese and then and then if it doesn't sell we're doing a boot sale at the end of Sept.

Next week its clothes she has grown out of that are too good to lose money on!

Good luck everybody, i find it wonderful to declutter the house and line our (threadbare) pockets

jimblejambles · 31/08/2009 20:32

ooh can I join too? I have just listed 14 things so fingers crossed will get some money and de clutter my house

notcitrus · 31/08/2009 20:59

Good luck everyone - I think I'm mainly doing clothes in my next batch, so unlikely to make much. But you never know!

Tortoise · 31/08/2009 21:42

Welcome to new peeps to this thread

bloss Do you mean parcel bags? I get mine from Ebay. Good quality and works out much cheaper than PO.

Been so busy tonight that it is a bit late to start listing now! Will try again tomorrow night.

£4.93 by this morning, love e-bay.

Have got loads to list, am aiming for 5 listings a night, hard as I always want them to start the same time as the dc's need to go to bed.

SNOWBall4girlz · 01/09/2009 11:16

Put a couple of things on last night

mygirllollipop · 01/09/2009 11:33

I have around 20 items on ATM and am just really looking to declutter.
Have only been actively listing in the last month and have made around £55 with lots of clutter still to go!

Tortoise · 01/09/2009 12:58

SNOW Most of my stuff gets listed starting at 99p so is free anyway .

Hopefully get time tonight to list some bits! Been saying that for days lol.

When should i start listing Christmas decs/novelty toys/fancy dress costumes?

OP posts:
Tortoise · 01/09/2009 22:19

More items finally listed! Not sure what will sell and what won't but all worth a try.

My Brother is currently sat on the floor sorting masses of Pokemon cards lol! One less job for me!

Dear lovely ebayers - can I ask quick hijacky type question please?

Would I be able to sell my unwanted still boxed untouched Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation on ebay? Is it the sort of thing people will buy?

If so I will register and have a go

(Thanks for your time. Sorry to interrupt!)

cheesesarnie · 02/09/2009 22:55

yes defiantly.people buy opened and part used ones for quite a lot.you can look to see how much they are going for without registering

cheesesarnie · 02/09/2009 22:56

here

bibbitybobbityhat · 02/09/2009 23:00

Yikes! Can't believe some of the prices.

Many thanks cheesey .

LackaDAISYcal · 02/09/2009 23:03

Oooh, can I join? I have been bitten by the ebay bug after making nearly £500 in June and July!

Are there any rules? Obviously if I have high value items to list then I'll make more money!

overthemill · 03/09/2009 09:33

just discovered one of the drawbacks of listing everything low! have to go through the hassle of p&P for 99p! O well at least it all adds up.
after massive posting out today - i will do more listings today - now kids back at school have more time. Need to make money
