WhereTheWildThingsWere no, I wussed out couldn't make it last night, so just as well you didn't say anything! Am going to try and get along on Tuesday night though.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 04/09/2009 11:02

Lolololol thank god I didn't say anything, there was a girl with lots of tats who seemed to keep looking at mine, and I kept thinking it must be you.

I am trying to go on Tuesdays, I am back with a vengance after disussing it with dp, have managed 4 classes in 6 days, feel soooooooo much better for it.

Give me a distinguishing mark so I don't make a twat of myself, I have long blonde hair, a large black dragon on the back of my left calf and my face is usually purple during and after, so I am quite easy to spot.

cyteen · 04/09/2009 11:25

4 classes in 6 days! and somewhat I wish I could go that often.

Distinguishing marks: I have a huge (full back) tattoo of a fiery goddess type thing, usually wear white vest and grey knee length joggers, groan quietly a lot

Will hopefully be at the 7.15 (?) class on Tuesday

cheesesarnie · 04/09/2009 12:47

made £18.75 last night.its better than nothing

probably wont do any tonight though!i should i should but bb final is on and im sad!

Tortoise · 04/09/2009 17:51

Sold Bruder tractor for £14 best offer. Pleased with that.
Been offered £2.50 for the Bronnley dusting powder but i decided to let the auction run on that as i think it is worth a bit more. May end up selling for 99p now lol!

Just wanted to say thankyou to WhereTheWildThingsWere...since editing my listing I've picked up 2 bidders on the Cut4Cloth sleepsuit .

Cheesesarnie every little helps.

Tortoise I probably wouldn't have accepted the BIN either, hoping you pick some good bidders.

Anyway more stuff to list so should start doing that rather than playing around on Mumsnet.

Tortoise · 04/09/2009 21:02

Few more items listed, all vintage sylvanian families animals.
Want to watch BB for a bit so might list more in a bit.

OP posts:
Tortoise · 05/09/2009 19:15

Duvet covers all end tonight. Pokemon one is doing well.

Few watchers on Sylvanian families already.

BakewellTarts · 05/09/2009 21:53

Well in spite of techie problems (Firefox related) last night I managed to list those new items. [http://shop.ebay.co.uk/ep3a/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25 Current List]

Sold 1 lot of bibs for the grand total of 0.99 but at least they sold. Lots of watchers on the others just hoping some translate into bids...big night of listings coming up soon.

LackaDAISYcal · 05/09/2009 22:11

After marking my place earlier in the week, I finally got some bits listed tonight, but only as far as relisting a few things that hadn't sold a couple of months ago.

Have loads more to add over the coming few weeks as we can't move in our house for clutter.

Well done on all the sales so far

Tortoise · 05/09/2009 22:28

Only the Bob the builder duvet didn't sell and the skittles.
Got £6.90 for the pokemon duvet. Only 99p for teletubbies but postage is a lot on duvets so i didn't expect much.

Most of my items have at least one watcher.

More items photographed tonight ready for listing tomorrow.

mel1981 · 06/09/2009 01:36

relisted and listed some items tonight here at last so fingers crossed they will sell.

well done on the duvets tortoise... I completely forgot about them and missed them typical LOL

Still have tons more to list but that will have to wait for another night as im off to bed!!

lowrib · 06/09/2009 01:39

I'm in!

TheYearOfTheCat · 06/09/2009 01:52

OOh, I'd love to join in, but I am a complete newbie to ebay. I have got so much stuff to sell - mostly children's stuff.

I don't really know where to start.

notcitrus · 06/09/2009 09:55

Have done photos, just need to measure and weigh lots of things now.

Does anyone know for sure the Ebay position on used bras - have nice maternity and nursing ones and some others I ended up with after our clothes swap party. Looking at the answer centre seems to be 50:50 people sure it is/isn't allowed. WOuldn't have thought of it but someone on here said they'd made money off bras.

I figured they wouldn't need much packaging.
Starting to run low on jiffy bags...

Tortoise · 06/09/2009 10:03

NotCitrus No idea about used bras. If there are any listed then i would assume it was ok.

I need to raid the cupboard and find the halloween outfits that i need to list.

OP posts:
BakewellTarts · 06/09/2009 17:26

I think used underwear isn't allowed on EBay...there was a discussion about it on here a while ago...[http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=ebay&threadid=803163-do-you-does-anyone-sell-used-but-gre at-condition-bras bra talk]

BakewellTarts · 06/09/2009 17:26

Really not doing that link thing well atm tries again

Tortoise · 06/09/2009 21:57

Made another £20.50 last night, ds's £2.50 sale tee shirt sold for £14.06 , I don't actually like it when things sell so much above their worth, well not until I have fb anyway, then I can relax.

Tortoise · 07/09/2009 09:44

WTWTW That is a great price to get for a t-shirt.

Right, finally had a chance to list some things here - got loads more stuff to sell too, another lovely coat, some toys, an amazing vintage dress that I had taken in when I was a whippet-thin youngster and now can't get into ...

Here's hoping DS takes another long nap today, then I'll have a chance of actually listing it all

Knickers0nMaHead · 07/09/2009 11:55
