Early Spring Clean : Anyone for a 400 pounds by Easter challenge?

Was listening to a radio programme the other day about making money from your old things and it made me realise how much stuff I've got 'waiting to go on eBay'.

Just wondered if anyone fancied a challenge to see how much we can each make from selling the unwanted stuff we have by Easter. I reckon I could get to about ?400 maybe?

We'd have to share our eBay names, and then keep a running total of everything we sell between now and 31st March?

For simplicity's sake I'd suggest we just tot up the totals invoiced (incl. P&P)rather than the net profit IYSWIM?
To include only unwanted items - not trading of new goods etc....

I thought if it became competitive it might spur me into action more !

have had nearly 300 hits on my shoes and have a number of watchers they're still on for abnother 7 days, I have just listed some perfume and I have some other bits to list but have decided to hold off until the shoes have finished as I'm not sure it'll give out the right impression.

I looked in the under the stairs 'Ebay' cupboard today.Was at how much is in there to put on. If i can just sell some of my stuff i can slowly clear the cupboard!

oooo I'm excited - I have someone watching the football table.......DH says it can go - and when I moved it off the landing to photograph it the other day the landing looked HUGE - so I'm desperate for it to go .

Got 13 items listed ATM, only 1 has bids (so far) but they finish on Sun/Mon so still time - and a few of them have watchers.......

I've just had my bloody shoes removed by eBay - I'd had nearly 400 hits and had about a dozen watchers. I'm so pissed off.

It says due to adult nature (in a nutshell) but I read their policy and I think I conformed.. the only problem I can think it might be though is that I wrote in my description that the shoes were worn to Erotica ball and they have a clause about no erotica items or items of a sexual nature. I did put Fetish in the header though.

I need an urgent answer to a paypal Q actually.. does anybody know if you need to give someone your full name for them to pay you via paypal? I don't think need any other details (only your email) am I right?

didn't think they did. Bloomin' fed up about the shoes. My own fault I guess for verging on risque. sod, oh well can list my other items now.

Don't know how much to put my old steriliser on for also I guess it would have to be collected due to size. Do you think it's worth listing?

FFF my shoes got pulled for adult content too I had a bid on them too were only old and smelly boots but a sale would be a sale lol

What's the views on kids clothing is it worth putting on and if so as a job lot?

I don't know re lots. Ive sold both ways and not sure which is best.

still only got bids on 1 of my 13 items, but now got 4 people watching my other bear that I put on - so hopefully at least 2 of them will bid for it........

tortoise can you advise what sort of clothes sell i would imagine it is well known makes etc? I am just a bit loath to start having to photograph loads of stuff if it doesn't sell. I think I am getting a bit worn out with it all at the moment..probably as have had sick kids all week!
