I'm still working on operation 'enjoying life while I'm not pregnant'. I went to a new group Pilates class this morning which kicked my arse, then mama stork and I went to a fabulous local garden centre, and bought new tubs and shrubs for my garden, took the dog on a 5mile walk, came home mowed both front and back, hand trimmed my borders, cooked supper and now, finally sitting down.

I think if try to get up I'm going to find that I've seized up....

So yeah, I'm revelling in the mundane of life especially the things that one isn't supposed to do when newly pregnant i.e. Over exertion!

Hey stork maybe we could move the meet up to NYC?! Ha ha ha.

Totally get the enjoy yourself while you can, doing all that stuff you can't once preggers/little has arrived. We went crazy going out for dinner while I was pregnant before little arrived. Actually, we've managed quite a few meals out (with her) since she joined us. Sometimes it's just the not knowing what the future will be like...

Stork we are going to NYC but come home Thursday 20th, we could have met there

Pez, it sounds like your clinic doesn't know it's arse from its elbow!! Definitely don't let it go if you're unhappy... It needs to be resolved. What time is your transfer tomorrow??

Hi stork that sounds like a really productive day!
I normally spend my Saturday morning at the boxing club and afternoon going out on my bike or hiking but since I'm only one day post IUI, I had a lazy morning and then went out for a leisurely lunch with some friends. Figured I shouldnt just stay at home and mope about not being able to do my normal stuff so I should embrace doing something else instead!

Did ur clinic advise when u should start testing Munro? Mine recommended 18days- I was like wtf that isn't a tww!!!

lol I think we can use real names on the meet altho I will need to match the real name to username so I understand people's history-shoes & taydex will be pretty obvious as to who they are. It will be so weird to meet you, I have in my head what I think U look like, like u do with characters from a book but it's prob completely wrong 😂

Let me know what time you're meeting and I'll see if I can pop by the meet up but I know realistically it probably wont work!

After thinking about it I'm going to go ahead with IUI as planned. Not decided on the clinic yet but will have another convo with them both after I finish my other tests. I thought CFC were a bit clinical but I think they were also more patient and thorough.

Been painting our hallway this weekend - has given me far too much time to think lol!

@pickle they said 16days+ but I'm not sure I can wait that long!

14 days seemed bad enough, this whole thing is all about waiting and more waiting

Phoenix I'm sorry I can't quite remember what was happening for you....were u planning on having iui in April cycle?? Or did I make that up? Ru still undecided on ivf vs iui or more which clinic to go for. It's all such a hard decision but you will know when a clinic feels right for you

That's sounds like a lovely day Stork! I love NYC, have fun, one of my friends lived there for a few years so I used to go quite a bit. I had the same thoughts about names, or that we might need to do intros like at the start of a thread! Your place sounds like a good location for a future meet. Pickle I usually don't realise that I have imagined what someone looks like until I meet them and they don't look how I expected! Some of you remind me of other friends, so I've probably imagined some things based on that.

Phew it's the nice doctor today!!! Just sipping on peppermint tea at the clinic, getting some heat in there and filling up my bladder
It feels so weird that in an hour or so I'll be back on the train with an embryo on board ☺️

Stork I did the same as you yesterday, bought a trimmer, trimmed all my borders and then mowed back and front - also did all the heavy lifting I had to do before transfer, moving stuff around. It also hit me while mowing that I'll need to find a gardener once pregnant! I'm so used of doing everything myself and not asking for help....

@witch I've been going to some group classes like circuits and bootcamp etc for a few years when the instructor introduced a pad work class and I really liked it. Coincidently a boxing club opened up in my town and offer women's fitness classes 2 x per week. You can also proper box for the club if you want but that's not really my thing. Hitting the bags is really good fun tho and a great stress relief. Plus the boxing guys don't cut you any slack so it's always a really great workout! It's one of the biggest things I'll miss if/when we get our BFP

I had dull period type pain in the night which woke me up but don't think it's anything serious (the clinic were quite concerned my many follicles might 'explode' now I'm on such a high dose of menopur). It stopped after a couple of hours so has just made me v tired today!

When's your iui/ivf due cazinge?

It's so stressful isn't it cazinge, I could feel my follicles so much that I was convinced they would collapse... I read so many similar stories online and they were always still there on collection day so try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!!!)

So, I've got an apparently beautiful 4BB on board and one 4CB on ice 😁. I also have an early blastocyst and a morula that might make it to tomorrow; I'd be very lucky if I get another one in the freezer! All other 5 have stopped 😪

Beta is booked for 11/4 so my TWW is reduced to 9 days this month yay!

Not quite sure what that all means but positive that at least one on ice and possibility of 2 :)

It's the grading they use, the highest would be 4AA for a blastocyst (although it can go to 5 or 6 if it has started to hatch)
