That's poop late sorry you had that rubbish dr again. But I would try not to worry too much about whether u did the right thing, what is done is done and if the other one wouldn't have done well in the freezer then your probably better going all in.

Caution start when u get it, it doesn't matter when In the cycle it begins as if ur planning to do for months u will see the pattern regardless

They have apologised and issued me with a credit note - how kind of them.
Honestly the embryologist and most doctors are really good and I feel frustrated for them. When I was talking to the doctor who did the egg collection (as believe it or not, they'd doubled booked my slot hence why I had to wait ), I explained how bad and stressful the admin side of things was and he said he was really struggling with it too as he was constantly worrying about his patients because of their errors...

Karen, I guess it will depend on quality. If none of them are good enough to freeze and i still have 2 decent ones then I'll transfer 2; otherwise my ideal plan is for 1 only.

I thank you all for being peeved on my behalf! But never fear guys, I'm very much not pregnant and no longer using the pessaries. And actually poas'ing is quicker than a beta, so I don't mind it or rather don't mind anymore.

I've come on 😩 I'm in so much pain and it's (sorry, tmi!) so. bloody. heavy that I'm soaking through within a few hours. My periods have been heavy and painful before but this is something else!!
I just feel really unwell with it. Dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, weak. Took my temp too to see whether it was high or not (cos I had one laying about and was curious) and it was - my temperature never goes high, no matter how poorly I am.
I know it can be heavy and painful after a lap but I'm to think something's not quite right.

Oh Caution, that sounds awful. Painkillers and off to bed! And don't forget to drink plenty of water!!!

Caution - you might need medical attention if you're bleeding very heavily and feel dizzy and have a high temp. You could have an infection. Please phone 111 if you're at all unsure.

Caution poor you, hope this is a one off consequence of the surgery. I just googled and it seems like other people have experienced a similar thing but maybe give them a call tomorrow if you're worried? Hope you manage to dull the pain enough to sleep, it's horrible when period pain keeps you awake

About the cost of ivf, I knew one round was around 6-7k mark at lwc, not entirely sure what that cost involves, i.e. Meds, scan tests, process etc. If I did a 3 round one there's a slight reduction in cost I think. If it goes above 6k I'll need to get a loan which I had already consigned myself to to get this done.
As for the amh, I had one done 2 years ago and I don't actually know what the result is. I have the paper telling me but I don't know how to read it and it was never explained so it can't have been bad. To start ivf I will have to get all screening tests done again o know that much.
As for the downs, she did mention that it can be checked for if I have ivf before being pregnant but no stats have been given as to chances etc. Maybe the dr will go through some of that tomorrow. I'm seeing a different one to my dr as she's really busy and needed an appointment sooner rather than later.

Calz, pay attention with the packages. I know that at my clinic the 3 cycle package only include one transfer, i.e. you do 3 cycles of stims where they collect eggs and bank them (freeze) and then at the end you're entitled to one transfer. Each additional transfer is then roughly the price of an IUI.

CRGH... well what can I say given that I am so angry they have said I cannot do any more treatment until I lose weight... they got my cousin pregnant? I have gad 2 BFPs. Most there are nice but they are very busy and you need to "own" your treatment - a bit hard when you know nada about fertility... they do have good success rates. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have another meeting today with boss about new job I applied for. Both current bosses keep on talking about transition time - speak for me doing 2 jobs at once...

caution my periods are torrential - I now use sensitive bladder pants for overnight/heaviest times. Hope you are feeling better.

Still have not contacted IVI in London - very busy week at work, nothing new there then.

A little update on pickle countdown..... (🙄you all say 😂) only(!!!) 4 weeks left of taking the pill 🤗.... in about 9weeks I'll know if I'm pregnant or not after 1st attempt

I'm feeling really down at the moment. Think its a lot of things (mostly hormones ) but work is so crazy and I'm really under-appreciated (and underpaid), I was so zen a couple of weeks ago and now not so Zen.

Looking at booking my flights for Copenhagen though... so thats something... Think I'm still sad that I'm doing this on my own... Ok. No more pity party. I need to pull up my big girl panties and get on with it.

Phoenix, there's nothing wrong in feeling sad your doing this alone. I know I did at times but then I would think of all the other mums out there doing it alone and it wasn't their choice and they are doing it and a great job too. To chose this path we are stronger than we give our selves credit for x x

Not being selfish but should we maybe look to meet up in London so that Shoes can join? Trains would be good for most too.
Maybe do a picnic in a park if the weathers nice or afternoon tea somewhere??
