Pubic hair

Asking the dads on here and the ladies too if they have an opinion. Pubic hair on men, yes or no, thinking about removing to see if DW likes it and yes it would be simpler to just ask but she probably wouldn’t give an opinion

OP posts:

Not fully removed but I prefer dh’s to be shortly trimmed

PopcornIcecream · 27/09/2025 11:45

She will probably think you’re having an affair ! Show her this thread if you decide to go bald!

Protosaber · 27/09/2025 11:47

Couldn’t you have asked in the sex topic?

StewkeyBlue · 27/09/2025 11:47

Oh god, leave your pubic hair alone. Women too. I find the smooth bald look and feel creepy and weird.

tartyflette · 27/09/2025 11:48

Eew. Never.
Bad enough that some women seem to want to resemble a weird pre-pubescent doll.

affor · 27/09/2025 11:51

Disagree entirely, much prefer it very short if not gone

SliceofTosst · 27/09/2025 11:57

Tidy but not none - eww!

It’s not bald or bush, there is an in between called trimmed and tidy!

TheBewleySisters · 27/09/2025 12:05

Neatly trimmed is my preference - ditto underarm hair, I hate long, straggly armpit hair on men.

This.

is it an age thing? If my DH started removing it I’d find it really weird.

women too (however seeing some bikinis it’s an obvious necessity)

it wasn’t a thing when I was young thank god.

FateAmenableToChange · 27/09/2025 12:17

Trimmed about 1cm long

ChristmasMiracleBaby · 27/09/2025 12:24

Shaved is better on men for reasons I'm not going to list.

Persille · 27/09/2025 12:33

I would find it off-putting if my partner removed his.

Also, consider that if removing the hair completely, you'll be much more likely to get ingrown hairs, spots or infections there - which are not particularly attractive!

BigButtons · 27/09/2025 12:38

I think hairless looks absolutely awful

BrunchBarBandit · 27/09/2025 12:42

I might be worth remembering that women are not a homogeneous group. We don’t share a hive mind of same opinions.

You’re better off asking your (individual) wife what she thinks

flippyflopss · 27/09/2025 12:43

Im a bi woman and my take on this is as followed.
Men - i dont mind a man being trimmed but not bald just no its such a turn of for me.
Women - the same leave something trim but not bald wax but still leave something.

Freeme31 · 27/09/2025 12:43

Neatly trimmed i think hairless on both is bit creepy bit too much like a child for my taste

I agree its off putting for me.

I much prefer it smooth & hair free. Trust me, it looks nothing like a child's vulva, nor s fools.

Don't be so vile about other peoples preferences.

its currently as hairy as it gets post menopause as current squeeze prefers if & im happy to indulge for now, i don't like men manscaping. So @Sadcafe I'd prefer you not to. But im not your wife!

DiscoBob · 27/09/2025 12:45

Not totally bicc-ed bald. But buzzed as short as possible definitely would be my preference.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 27/09/2025 12:45

What difference does a total stranger's preference make? It's not on public display and you've said your partner doesn't really give a hoot either way. So it depends entirely on your own preference for comfort/aesthetics/practicality.

Neatly trimmed but not so the hairs are sharp that can be sore in certain positions. I don't mind bald either, the rest of the body is clearly not childlike so no issue for me personally. However I do understand the pressure on women to be bald and disagree with it. For me its the sensory element of hair I dislike.

Definitely ask/chat with your partner!

What the actual fuck?

FirstCuppa · 27/09/2025 12:49

I would actually caveat this trimmed; if you have a lot of back hair that goes down your crack - PLEASE do do something about it. A friend had a rather traumatic experience with a Greek man. I don't think I need to say more.
