Asking the dads on here and the ladies too if they have an opinion. Pubic hair on men, yes or no, thinking about removing to see if DW likes it and yes it would be simpler to just ask but she probably wouldn’t give an opinion

Wondering why you're thinking about getting rid of your pubic hair "to see if wife likes it"? Surely, as a married couple, you'd know each others opinions on pubic hair already?

If you do this out of the blue without mentioning it to her first, she'll likely think you're having an affair.

I'd be gutted if my DH got rid of his bodyhair. It's manly and I find bodyhair and pubic hair on men a turn on. I'd get the ick if I was faced with a plucked chicken.

I’d recommend a beard trimmer to keep it neat and tidy. Shaving looks weird and grows back super-itchy!

Well, I am female, heterosexual and not hung up on bodies at all.
But in photos I've seen of naked women with natural pubic hair, (standing upright, legs closed so not pornified at all) their external genitalia do not much resemble those of women who are deliberately hairless. That is, not neatly trimmed, or with so-called landing strips etc, but totally hairles.
To me they definitely look more like prepubescent girls than adult women.
Pubic hair is a signifier in both women and men of sexual maturity, in the biological sense.
But if that's the look you (or your partner) prefer, by all means go for it.

Are you meaning the woman as a whole looks prepubescent or just the pubic region of the woman with shaved pubes?

A fully grown and fully developed vulva is different to a child's, After puberty, the labia become more easily visible as their prominence increases. As a woman continues to grow more mature, there is also an increase in labial thickness and length. If you are seriously comparing a prepubescent vulva to that of a grown woman, you are the creepy one sexualising children.

I think it is an age or generational thing. I like men to look like men not boys. I know that DH feels the same way about me.
