I like a chunky shamrock. We went to our local parade and admired the fire engines, the cars, the underrage camogie team etc. It was nice to have normality back. Local parades are a bit bonkers though.

Hope you all had a lovely St Patrick's Day. I watched our local parade with my grandkids..... the usual small town stuff - loads of kid enjoying representing the schools, sports clubs, scouts and guides etc. Constant drizzling rain 🙄. Babysitting now to let my DS and DIL go for a rare evening out in the city....

Sad Ryan Tubridy is leaving the Late Late.
Some people looks at dh aren't fans but I think he's a brilliant broadcaster.
Interested, informed and empathetic.
Do you think he's heading to the UK ?

I like Ryan as a person but actually think he's too bright for the format . He's a seriously good historian

I agree @Carriemac, I never thought the format of the Late Late suited suited his essentially serious approach to life. Don't think he's head over to the UK. He loves Ireland . I reckon he's planning on making historical documentaries etc

I'm a Tubs fan but not a Late Late Show fan! I think the whole thing should be scrapped. Can't see the point in putting someone else in the chair, when its the actual show that's the problem. I find it so depressing on a Friday night, the topics are just too heavy and we rarely get the big ticket stars that Graham Norton is able to get (unless someone's in town obviously)

The clocks go forward this weekend. I really hope a bit of spring weather comes along as I'm fed up with the rain and the chill. Remember the weather in April 2020?? I wouldn't mind a bit of that again!

I agree that The Late Late has run its course.
I don't want a "token" woman doing it.
I think Miriam, Sarah and Clare Byrne suit more political affairs/ current affairs than some of the frothy stuff. They are great at the current affairs/ politics
I hated Miriam's Summer Show. I felt she was trying to appear sincere and interested.
I do hope Ryan will still do the Toy Show though. He's a big kid natural on it.
